Ferno the Fire Dragon Paperback – Import, January 1, 2015

This book was chosen for us to read by my ten year old grandson. I enjoyed the well plotted story. Our hero's are a boy and a girl. They have to face fantastical beasts in order to save the kingdom. The two along with their animal companions show great team work and fast thinking. There are realistic aspects depicted in the way young Tom feels and goes about problem solving. How do I get into this adult world? What can I say to get the King to listen to me? These are real questions faced by real children as they grow. I am looking forward to the rest of the series.

This looks like a good series for boys, and so far we love it. I was looking for an exciting adventure type book/seriesfor my boys to read. ANYTHING to get them to read!! I'm planning on getting the next title soon.

Nice, easy, fun read. My son and I enjoy this series very much at bedtime. Well wtitten and vrty creative.

My 10 year old son is not a reader, and he just recently got hooked (no, not on phonics) but on this series! He started the first book at school and persuaded me to buy it for him because school was almost over and he was afraid he'd not have time to finish it. Well, he's now on the 3rd book! And he loves to tell me all about it! As an avid reader myself, I couldn't be more pleased. Good thing there are sooooo many more to go :)

Excellent starter book to get my son interested in reading fantasy books, short chapters, engaging story, and the star of the book is a young child.

EAsy, quick read. GReat for hooking reluctant readers on a series with lots of action.

I work in a library. Had boy who requested this whole series-something like 67 books. He has read everyone that we have. My g.son started reading this series in 3rd grade & read them all. Accelerated Reading levels are 4.0 to 5.0. I recommend this series for boys who aren't interested in reading too much.

I have read 15 Beast Quest books, and I like them because they have so many beasts. And the hardest quest is always last in the season. I am seven years old and think that other kids my age would like these books too!
