Elegant and techy
The sling bag looks good I have gotten compliments while commuting on the trains, and on my way to clients to troubleshoot their computer or network problems.Pros: Free Kntght Sling Chest Bag has the right style, as for appearance it stands out in the crowd which is cool. The material is comfortable and it feels sturdy, and it blends with a corporate modern wear.Cons: Dont get too excited since space is not measured by the appearance, you get three pockets on the bag with a zipper. Small wide, medium wide, and medium on the front. So when it comes to every day gadgets, your headset might run into a space issue.Overall: If you have in ear headphones, charger and all the portable accessories for the go. Then this would be good for you, if you want to carry small snacks this would work out.The front compartment extends a bit to provide more space, but keep in mind this was design for a sleek look.

Didn't think I would like it but..
Wasn't quite sure how I was going to like this, especially with the writing on the front (preferred blank) but after using it, this is actually meeting everything I need a bag like this to be.Quality of materials are really good! Doesn't feel cheap at all from the fabric to the buckles to the stitches to the bottle holder to the USB charging point to the strategic organization of pockets and zippers inside. It also looks way cooler than other sling bags due to the shape. Odd at first but actually pretty darn cool.My favorite sling to date...

Good product
My 13 year old used this on his field trip to DC with his school. Was able to hold his diabetes supplies and phone and headphones. Wish there was a cooling pack inside though

Just what I was looking for
It holds a small selfie stick, wallet, external battery for my phone, a bottle of water. Just perfect if you travel and want to leave all your stuff at the hotel except for the essentials. It has an internal cable you can connect your phone's external battery charger too. The small pocket in the belt is very convenient to put credit cards and money in it because it is very easy to access and it's placed on your chest when you are wearing the bag.

Intriguing design insights hampered by budget constraints.
This review is for the Dark Gray-Large bag.Bag Body: fabric seems pretty good and tough. In the large size you get enough space to make a good day bag for EDC or travel.Webbing is lightweight. This tends to complicate sliding the adjustments and the main strap has a lot of excess length. Needs a tri glide to hold the excess better. They do include a bar to help with the excess but it's not sufficient to the task.Stitching is probably the weakest aspect of the bag. A little sloppy and rushed at the cross tack and related areas. Also the taping of the seams is lightweight material with some slop to it. This gets caught in the main zipper now and then. A stiffer fabric would have been better here .As a sling, the bag is set up for right shoulder carry. The strap pocket zipper faces up in this orientation for easy access and no spilling. From the right shoulder, if you slide the bag around to the front, you're presented with all the zippers for access. Mesh pocket on the bottom. Right shoulder tends to be how left handed people carry a sling. For right handers from the left shoulder, things reverse. The zippers now all face down when slid around to the front. Similarly , the strap pocket is now tilted down and you can't see into the pocket when opened. This was obvious to me from the pictures before buying but I point it out to any who might miss it. For me, it will be a left shoulder bag and I knew what I was getting into.Sliding the bag around is a convenient way to handle riding public transit without having to take off the bag. This also improves your bag security because now your stuff is up where you can see what is happening to it. Except for that pocket on the strap...For transit, having the bag in your lap gives you the access and security you need. If standing, you can reverse the strap attachment to the other side and sling it in front. Just don't put anything valuable in the strap pocket. I've taking to storing a AAA flashlight, lip balm, and a space pen in there. Easy access and no big deal if stolen.Bag organization, from front to back. The front most pocket has a long zipper access in a deep shrouded flap. The flaps are reinforced with plastic stays. The flap keeps the weather out and prying fingers to a degree. The pocket has a top and bottom compression strap. So with the straps cinched, the pocket is like a slash pocket. If you need extra space, you can loosen the straps and stuff it with quite a bit more. You'll have a protruding zipper flap to varying degrees depending how you stuff it. The pocket itself has no organization. The main area of the bag has two sleeve pockets towards the front; one mesh, and the other nylon fabric. Between those sleeves and the main zipper is another short zipper. The zipper pocket accesses the USB cord and port. The port is not fixed in location so you can remove it from the bag but you're stuck with shroud on the outside. This was not an important feature for me and I've thought about sealing the shroud and using this as a pen pocket. There is enough room for the common sized battery chargers in this area to go with the cord. The headphone port is also in this area. Mine was uncut and I left it that way. With the velcro flap at the top, this port is really redundant. So yes, the top has a velcro flap for letting large things poke through. I can see the use for this. The design of the flap could be better to keep the rain and wet out more when you're not sticking things through it.Edited to add: I have since slit this port and then heat selaed the nylon on the interior. I did this to add a carbiner that loops through this port and the velcro flap. Now clip small organizer bags up high in bag and free up more space down low. This also gives you more security for these items. If you just clipped the biner aound the velcro port itself then the biner could be grabbed and torn out of the bag through the velcro. Which might be useful for a small first aid kit but not secure for valuables. This likely will increase rain intrusion into bag though. Not a bad place to clip a small umbrella either. There is also a tablet panel with an elasticized strap in the main pocket. Too elastic and a bit floppy but lightly padded and still useful.Just behind the main zipper is another shorter zipper for a security type pocket sized for phones or passport things. This has a big zipper pull. If you're going to use it for secure things, i recommed trimming off the pull and tying a short bit of cord in place so it's not so easy to access. Black cord so it blends in would be best. The exterior mesh pocket maxes out with the diameter of a 16 oz nalgene. That's not a bad tradeoff for the scope of this bag.So why large over small? For me, jacket/rain gear/umbrella was the biggest reason. Some snack space for travel use as a day bag too. But once you get into this size of sling, you start to open the door to a sling's biggest weakness. Weight. There is enough space to get you in trouble weight wise. You need to stay under 10 pounds or a sling generally becomes uncomfortable fast. Staying even lighter is better. The compression straps were a bonus for this to help keep your load compact and stable.

What’s the objective of this bag?
I don’t understand the small access hole at the “top” where the strap is permanently attached to the bag. And with the bag pulled across the front of my body, the compartments are awkward to access. And the size of the compartments do not seem to be logical for a tablet or a book or a wallet or a camera or anything else that I thought I would use this bag for. I loaned it to my father to use as a butt bag and he found it ok for carrying his phone and bottle of water so I gave it to him. Much better and cheaper butt bags available and that was about all this bag was good for.
