Anker knocks it out of the park again!!!
Ok, I've got to admit that Anker does things right. I had an issue with a speaker a while back and they came to me with one intent...to make it right with me, and they did!!! So, with my past experience with Anker I did not hesitate to try their Bt FM Transmitter for my Jeep Wrangler. My Jeep, being an early 2003 model did not have Bt connectivity as OE equipment. This past year I have gotten back to listening to the music I grew up on back in the 70's and 80's. After using an Anker Boost speaker in the Jeep to stream music I decided that I wanted to try streaming through the Jeep's sound system. Enter Anker's Bt FM Transmitter. When I saw the transmitter (and the price!!!) it was a no-brainer for me....my brain said "ORDER IT!" I ordered it.But, I have a problem with my Jeep. The sub-woofer is rotten/blown/falling-apart/kaput/etc.,. It's got more snaps and crackles than Rice Krispie cereal has.....really!!! Anyhow, I decided that if this little cigarette lighter plug-in Bt gizmo worked that I'd go ahead and go through the expense and trouble of replacing the sub-woofer. It all depended on whether the Bt transmitter worked....or not.As it turns out I have a replacement sub-woofer ordered and will be installing it next week. The Bt transmitter works great. It sounds good, even though the speakers aren't at their best due to having to adjust the treble and bass along with the balance to get things half-way decent....I can't wait to hear the system once I've got the sub-woofer replaced! The Roav Smartcharger pairs very easily with my old iPhone-6. It is very simple to use. Find a clear frequency on the radio and tune the Roav to that frequency. It's about as easy to get going as it is to over-eat at the Golden Crane buffet!!! (GRIN)I don't know how long it will last, but for the price if I get a year or two out of it I'll feel I get my money's worth out of it (naturally I hope it lasts 20 years, but... :) ). With two USB charging ports it handles phone charging and whatever. There's even a voice that tells you when you first start up that it's trying to pair up...then tells you that pairing was successful!!! Shux, this thing's smarter than my oldest sister (but really, that isn't saying much but it is pretty doggone smart!!!!!!!!!!!!!) :)If you're looking for a Bt connection for your vehicle this one will do the trick!!!! It works great for me!!!UPDATE!!!!! I replaced my subwoofer and WOW!!!!! what a difference it makes. Tickled pink with the ROAV FM Transmitter!!!!

Wonderful product! (but....)
I am very pleased with my purchase of this product! The car I drive on a daily basis is an old Chevy Blazer, and it has no AUX input (let alone Bluetooth). I bought this, devising to try my luck one last time to see if I would finally get a decent quality product, and I hit the jackpot! This little thing has great audio quality and is extremely easy to set up. You just find a static-filled station, plug in the SmartCharge thing into the cigarette lighter, press the middle button, connect your phone via Bluetooth, and adjust the SmartCharge’s numbers to be that of the static-filled station you found. You are then able to use your car like a Bluetooth speaker!Pros: easy to use, great build quality, great sound quality, charges devices fast, will automatically connect to your phone if you have Bluetooth turned on and your phone was the last device to connect to itCons: there is only one, and this could be a dealbreaker for some: when you are using this device, my car’s speakers have emitted a very, very, very high pitched noise. This noise is so shrill, I doubt any average person over the age of 30 can hear it. However, I have encountered this problem with every single one of the devices I’ve tested that work in a similar fashion to this, and this particular device has the least noticeable noise (it is barely noticeable when no music is playing. When music is playing, it is almost impossible to hear).Overall: I would definitely recommend this product, as it is the best one I’ve found to date, and even though it was the best, it was also the cheapest one I have bought! So unless you want to try your luck with something else, this is the product I would recommend!

Mixed results, great when using AUX input
Update from 3 to 4 stars: original comments still belowI have used this a lot and it works wonderfully for my intended purpose. I wanted a device that would allow be to stream music from my phone (Pixel 4XL) to my aux input in my older vehicle (2010 Honda Odyssey) while charging at the same time. This works perfectly for that purpose. The sound is wonderful. As a bonus, it will also charge my phone OR stream music over FM to my radio in my other car with *OK sound quality. However, it will not stream to FM and charge the phone at the same time. I have tried this in multiple cars and the problem is the same in each. This is a definite 5 star if you only want to stream through the AUX port and charge your phone. It is a three star or worse if you want to use if for other applications though. I would buy it again since I mainly use it with the AUX port. When I have to use the FM it is nice to have it I just can't charge the phone and use that at the same time which is a minor annoyance for occasional usage.*The sound quality through FM is about the same as other devices I have used. It has a little static but not bad at all. I was perfectly happy with the FM quality and thought it was very good until I tried the AUX input which is darn near perfect.)Original:I received this yesterday so this is based on limited experiences.I loved it when I plugged it in and it worked great as a charger.I loved it when I set up the Bluetooth connection and it was very simple.I loved the sound quality using Bluetooth and the FM transmitter. Then I plugged in the charging cable and the unit powered off.I tried to set it up again leaving the charging cable connected but it would not connect. It has a 3.5mm Aux out jack on the side. I have not tried it yet but I will soon and will update.I have not tried it in a different vehicle nor have I tried much trouble shooting so this could be something to do with the vehicle or it could be user error, perish the though.I will try it again later today or tomorrow and adjust the review accordingly. At best, it is disappointing that after everything worked so great individually using it all at once is not as simple.
