Purchased this dryer for my wife. It has lasted more than 6 years...

I've been using this hair dryer since past 2 weeks. It's just flawless. It drys my hair quite well & within a short duration. But bear in mind I've Short Hair, so maybe it is drying my hair within a minute or so.The dryer is genuine & the back is sort of removable in order to clean the back if one wants to do so.I've given 3 Stars because of the following reasons-1) The dryer makes a lot of noise. While drying my hair it makes a lot of noise which makes my Music go inaudible.2) I tried using this dryer to dry off my Mom's Hair, it was a bit slow in my opinion as she has quite short hair. (I can neglect this one as no one uses it apart from me myself)3) I don't know if it's me but the the cool shot button never works! I mean the dryer is very well made & the normal setting without the hot settings turned on, just throws normal air. I mean the cold shot never worked for me!I guess the normal air is only the cold shot setting default turned on for last setting/ final touch.Those who are beginners, Hot Air is used to dry off hair & Cold Air is used for Styling/ Just the Final Touch. For Guys, please don't use Hot Air after applying some hair product. Because this leads to melting of the hair product causing no hold to the hair. So Be aware!EDIT- The cool shot button works when you are using hot settings & you hold the cool shot button, after 10-20seconds, the cool air starts off. So for me the cool shot button works. I’d have liked if the product came with a manual.

This is my second torlen blow dryer. The first one was purchased 6 to 7 years back and still works the way it used to on day one.This blow dryer is recommended by almost all the salon people and it's absolutely worth the price.The airflow is very strong and the hot and cold feature is really helpful.Anyone looking to buy a blow dryer for drying or styling your hair then look no further.. this is one of the best.

My hair takes a real long time to dry. I needed something really good to save time before leaving to work. This works really well. It's a little heavy compared to the cheaper ones. But then you will be fine once you start using it. Carrying when you travel could be a problem.There are 3 levels of blow dry. The fastest is like super fast! The Temperature control is also very good.

Really good product... must buy... it has two speed controls in normal air and hot air seperately... i use hot air blower only during styling... normal air does its work at first speed itself... worth for money... only thing its heavy... but it does its job perfectly....

The best product I have came across in my online shopping time. Rather purchasing other brands torlen works really amazing in comparison.-The wire is quite long and I don't have to stand next to the the switches,-cool shot button works best for me to instantly lock the style and not provided in all Philips and other kind of products.-2 concentrators are provided. I, however, not realizing the difference opted using a wide mouthed one to not heat dry my hairs.-I can easily shift from no heat to medium heat to high heat.-Ceramic heaters fitted in this product don't let hair to get damaged quickly (read somewhere) but it's better to be cautious. I blow my hair for a shorter durations and at an optimum distance.

It is as good as as any dryer can get. This is my first dryer that I actually used for some time. I got this mainly because I wanted to use dryer with diffuser and most diffusers available don't fit standard dryers. Well this is a professional dryer. The cord given is quite long. The dryer works as expected. There is a cold air option as well. Don't expect the hair to dry within 5 minutes or something. It takes time. I expected this to be heavy, but it is comfortable to use. The only shortcoming I noticed so far is the noise, I guess it is common if you go for a dryer with more wattage.
