Genuine Kilner product delivered. Great packaging, on time. Can't, wait to start pickling. I will write product review after I pickle my first batch. Just wanted to point out that the lid is a 2 component piece. It is something I did not know. It is specially made this way to prive a better air tightness.

Everytime u take the bottle, u will feel happiness to use that. As Kilner is master in quality bottle making, I was ready to pay this amount for a perfection. But this too have blow holes, manufacturing defect in it. See the pic. Also for a made in chine item, why they are charging double the price compared to other brands. Price is equal to other made in germany or made in UK items. Cost to be reduced.

Too fragile

I’ve used these for years. The two-part cap takes a little bit of getting used to for sure. But the jars are always waterproof and humidity proof and they’re brilliant. Have now 5-6 of them in the kitchen!

This jar makes you happy ever time you use it. It's the right size & the quality is amazing. Glass is on point, transparent as a crystal with no bubbles or irregularities, cap fits snuggly. If you didn't notice, the metal cap is actually 2pieces ; one circular just to seal the mouth & other to thread in & secure the seal. I think this way let's you remove more air out from jar & aids in pickling. Also, it should be easier to unscrew. You could see how well this is built when you can't tell the 2pieces of lid apart once you thread them in. Overall, this one is must have if you love pickling & it's probably the best one for pickling or preserves. You could use it for storing other stuff air tight as well.
