Post Shoulder Surgery Shirt - Men's - Women's - Unisex Sizing

So grateful for this T-shirt after my rotator cuff surgery! The fabric is really soft, the snaps are relatively easy to work, and it makes getting dressed so much easier. It’s a loose fit, doesn’t seem to shrink very much, and the blue is the same as advertised. Overall, this shirt seems to be pretty high-quality. It does pill where the sling sits across it. I’m not surprised about that!

I looked at several different brands of shirts prior to having my right shoulder replaced. I am a bigger gal and wanted something that was comfortable and easy to get off and on by myself using one arm. These shirts are so soft and fit me well. I bought 2 more to have a clean one for each day of physical therapy. I also bought 2 sleeveless ones as well also for physical therapy. Well worth the money spent.

My Surgery is next week and I was concerned about what I would be able to wear afterwards. Then I saw these and ordered 2. Black and the Gray. They arrived and I tried it on and feels very comfortable. The snaps go all the way from under the arm to the bottom so the sides open completely except for over the shoulder itself. This will make it much easier to put on, though I imagine I will still need help in working the snaps. Like others have said I would be gentle with the snaps on the soft fabric. Since I haven't used them yet I can't say they will hold up but perhaps when I am able to type again I will update this. Update: Three and a half weeks since the surgery and i still use these daily. Well actually mainly at night to sleep in as I can wear button down shirts in the daytime. The black shirt has held up really well. still soft and comfortable. I have had no problems with the snaps on either shirt. The gray shirt starting pilling after one gentle machine wash. Not so with the black. Just glad I got two. I do recommend these to anyone undergoing shoulder surgery. Just make sure you have someone to help with the snaps the first few days. and if possible hand wash or gentle cycle only.

These shirts are great quality. And so functional after shoulder replacement. As a large breasted woman I wish they were patterned or less silky texture. Difficult to wear bra after shoulder surgery. Too revealing for me for PT. I make do but patterned colors could be less revealing.

First - size. My husband is 6'1" and wears a L to XL. This in XL fit fine. The material is soft and has plenty of stretch to go around his shoulder bandages and move under his sling, or when he sits or changes positions. The directions for laundering sound kind of strict, but all I did was wash it on our permanent press cycle, and dried it that way too. No shrinkage, and the few wrinkles from the packaging worked themselves out once the shirt was on after surgery. Most importantly - the placement of the snaps and how well they work. A+ for that! They line up with each other and are easy and quick to snap and unfasten, unlike another shirt we tried. Though they are metal, my husband didn't feel as if they were cold. This shirt is made by a true medical clothing company, and the quality of construction shows. Buy this for your shoulder surgery or your loved one's!

My mom had surgery on her shoulder rotator cuff. I was exploring options of clothing that would be easy for her to put on since she would have limited to no movement in the shoulder area for a couple of weeks. This shirt was perfect for out situation. It is stretchy, comfortable, and easy to get on. Of course she needs help to snap the buttons but it was a relief knowing that she would have a nice shirt to wear when going to doctor follow up appointments. She was so worried about what she would do she cried when I surprised her with this shirt and she instantly fell in love with the color and the material. Now that she is healed she still loves her his shirt and wears it so often that I am saving up to get a few more in different colors for her to go to physical therapy in. I truly recommend this shirt to anyone who is going through medical issue in which they cannot raise their arms high enough to get their shirt on.

Women's shirts were comfortable, easy to get on & off.

This has been very helpful after my rotator cuff surgery however there are a few issues. I can get out of it and get in it, however how are you supposed to snap it back up once you get it on and the bad arm In it? I’ve had to get someone to snap me up after I slip my good arm in and over my head. It’s somewhat helpful but keeps me from being self-sufficient with dressing, which was the whole point of the shirt. I will say that it does make getting dressed a lot less painful so for that reason I kept it. The striped version of this shirt however runs a lot smaller and more itching material, so I can only attest to the black and grey versions being very comfortable, and true to size with easy to snap buttons. The striped one buttons are weird and come unsnapped very easily.

Very helpful when my husband broke his arm. Looks pretty nice on.

Need to size way down compared to Australian sizes. This is a very soft and comfortable top, two person job as it’s not an easy get on and off with one arm not working. Wish there were more choices in colour.
