Amazing and rice/corn free!
These taste great! Not exactly like bread but what gluten free product is? I'm doing an exclusion diet and can't eat a lot of foods. It's great that this product offers something with few ingredients that tastes flavorful, has a good texture, and is easy to make. Eat them when they are warm, they harden up a bit after they cool.

Tasty gluten-free bread
I like this gluten-free bread, it is easy to make up and tastes good. What I have found is NOT to add the extra water it lists as optional, it will make the dough incredibly sticky and hard to work with. I mix the dough up in my Ninja food processor with dough blade and take it out when it forms a ball. I flour my hands with a little coconut flour. I keep trying to figure out how to get it cooked thoroughly inside because it quickly gets hard as a rock on the outside. I cook for 22 minutes, take it out and cut a split down each piece and put it back in for 2 minutes to get the gooey inside cooked. Still the best tasting gluten free bread I have made. I also buy the pizza crust mix.

Delicious!
We are always looking for GF products for our family since we have a son who has gluten sensitivities. Rarely we find a product that everyone in the family is willing to eat. These bread sticks are so yummy we all enjoy them! They're easy to prepare and versatile- They are delicious on their own but I do add additional ingredients (i.e. spices, or a little shredded cheese) to change things a bit from time to time, and still the bread sticks turn out perfect.

Disappointed
My kids and I baked these the other night. First, they were easy to prepare, and the kids had fun forming the bread sticks. Once they were baked, they were pale, as are most gluten free breads. But the problem was that they were flavorless. We used parmesan for the cheese, but could not taste the garlic and onion, or the cheese. The outside of the breadsticks were fairly hard, and in spots, the interior was gummy. I will not purchase these again.

Great taste, texture and easy to make.
These are really a great alternative to regular wheat breadsticks. They are a bit crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. They freeze well and reheat amazing in a toaster oven (I don’t microwave bread). The expiration date is a little over a year from now, so I will definitely use them up by then.

they never fully cook.
I have tried following the directions, exactly. I don't like the fact that they never seem to fully cook. Either with cheese in them or without.

easy to prepare, slight gummy texture
Having read rave reviews I was excited to try out Chebe products. To be fair, this is the only one I've tried, so I can't compare it to the brand's other items. I liked that the mix was easy to whip up and shape into different forms. I made the traditional bread sticks but also concocted a savory monkey bread rolling the dough up like little biscuit bites.I found that while the exterior of the bread crisped up nicely, the inside remained somewhat gummy. I know I didn't overcook it, as leaving it in the oven longer would have caused the outside to scorch. The flavor was decent but the texture was a big let-down. Even both of my bread-loving kids (ages 6 and 9) didn't love these. I have had better luck using my own gluten-free flour blend to bake my own bread sticks and such.

Do so much with a little bread stick!
If you can't have real bread, if you are allergic to grains and have to eat gluten free, then this is the best Chebe product I have found. I eat it as a bread stick, with butter and parmesan or dipped in pizza sauce. I make a bunch and keep in the fridge and take out one, split in half, butter lightly and fry, then eat with ham and cheese. From the stash in the fridge, I take one and cut it up and add instead of noodles or potatoes to whatever meat and veggies. Or cut in thin slices and "butter" with chicken salad or cream cheese spread. Much less expensive than crackers. I love my Chebe bread sticks!
