Fabulous small mugs
I’m obsessed with this brand/ design. Happy to have found the mugs on Amazon., a surprise. They came very well wrapped secured They are a small size 6 ounce I think But that’s OK there’s plenty of refills from my teapot

Design not equal to previous versions
The mug arrived well packaged and intact. The color is fine. I wanted a mug to work with my existing plates I use occasionally for breakfast. I don't have a large collection, just a few plates. I would not recommend this to anyone who is looking to match with existing Johnson castles dinnerware. The drawing on my existing plates is crisp, almost like an etching. The lines on the cup are blurry. I'm not sure who made this cup, but unless Johnson Bros has greatly suffered quality issues in the past years, I don't think it was made by them. It will work for my needs. I only ordered one.

Miracle they weren't’ broken
The 4 mugs were touching and clanking against each other ..only I piece of air pocket material and it wasn’t touching any mugs...... whoever packed these has no clue how to pack breakable items ....it was an absolute miracle they were not broken or chipped. Mugs themselves are awesome and beautiful.

Harmonize nicely with original china
I have some lovely older china in this pattern. While the original dainty tea cups are beautiful, they dont serve for a morning cup of coffee. These do. A bit sturdier and still harmonious with the original set
