The moment the lid twists off, you’re hit with that unmistakable rush of fresh basil, real olive oil, and garlic that smells like someone just decided to cook seriously tonight. Not artificial. Not muted. This is bold, green, aromatic pesto that doesn’t apologize for being itself. Texture-wise? Perfect. Not oily soup, not stiff paste. It spreads, coats, and clings exactly how pesto should—wrapping itself around pasta like it has a personal vendetta against bland food. Toss it with noodles, spread it on a sandwich, swirl it into eggs, or spoon it directly onto roasted vegetables and suddenly everything tastes intentional. The flavor balance is where this shines. The basil is front and center, the garlic is confident but respectful, the cheese is savory without hijacking the whole experience, and the salt level is chef’s kiss. It tastes like something you’d be served at a small, sunny café and then immediately try to recreate at home—only to realize this jar already nailed it. And yes, the 6.5-ounce size is dangerous… because it disappears fast. You’ll start planning meals around finishing the jar, then quietly wish you bought two. Review: I'm so glad I found this online! Living in a small town means there's no Whole Foods anywhere near me, so when I discovered I could order this basil pesto on desertcart, I was honestly thrilled. Finally, I can get quality pesto without driving an hours to the city! The fresh product only stays good for a couple weeks after opening, which is actually a good sign since quality ingredients tend to go bad quicker. The packaging was great – no bottle leakage at all. I'll definitely be buying this again!

It's a bit sweet for Pesto, in my opinion. Nevertheless, very delicious and ingredients are good. It goes well with pasta and I love spreading it onto sandwiches.
