I sometimes take 4 tablets which doesn't always help. So, I usually take 5 tablets at a time. Results are sometimes achieved as quickly as 6 to 7 hours if I take on an empty stomach. But usually takes about 8 to 12 hours. Your results may vary. I suggest that you start with 3 tablets. Then experiment with 4 or even 5. If you are traveling, don't stray too far from a restroom until you know what your best dosage is. My doctor told me NOT to take sennacides every day. But he didn't say "why". I take then about 5 or 6 times per week. These work.
