Good soft pencils in beautiful muted colors. I'm using since 2 years. It has given excellent results.

I am satisfied. I haven't used it yet but prima facie product looks excellent. I bought this after reading many reviews so I am sure it will be good on paper as well. I will write one more review after I use it. Only draw back was the packaging. It came in a thin plastic cover only instead of securely packed so chances of breaking are always there . One pencil lead was slightly chipped.

This set is just awesome. Beautifully soft charcoal pencils. The colours are also good though a bit on the darker side. I wish Derwent would come out with a bigger set soon.

Overall pencils are good but I got two pencils short in length. I am not sure if it is used or bad piece itself. This is not expected. I wanted to use them early so have not returned the product.

Easy to blend. The muted colors of the charcoal gives a vintage look to the work.

Not upto the mark as expected. Very scratchy d hard to blend... Not for professionals. Bit disappointed 😥

I am not an artist... but I love sketching....I am absolutely self taught so I have no prior knowledge of any techicalities... but I recieved the package today and that’s a picture of my daughter that I immediately drew upon opening the box. I am loving it! Thank you!!

Honestly, you can't really go wrong with most any Derwent product, though sometimes the prices are a bit high. Their Tinted Charcoal Pencils are a boon for the pastelist because the colors included in its range are novel and cannot be found in the run-of-the-mill pastel and pastel pencil palette. For this reason alone this set is excellent, but these pencils also offer good light-fastness, good point holding ability, relatively soft application, and at least a partial ability to use water to create beautiful wash effects. The portrait and landscape pastel artist will find nearly all of the muted and earthy colors in this set appealing. Derwent also makes a line very similar to their Tinted Charcoal, which they call Tinted Graphite. It, too, is a wonderful dry media tool.

Charcoal pencils of great quality and a lot cleaner to use than plain charcoal. Tinted and named with landscape drawing/painting in mind. Although not labeled as such, they are water soluble. Adding water gives a much richer (happier?) result. They can be great companions to Derwent Tinted Charcoal Pan Set.

Lápis macios, permite fundir bem os tons, mas nas cores escuras, que são maioria, quase não há diferenças significativas entre elas.

普通の色の色鉛筆にチャコールを影に使うといい感じの色合いになります。ただデッサン用みたいに柔らかい芯なので取り扱いは注意です。ティッシュなどでぼかして使いました。普通の色鉛筆は１２色のものを使用しました。
