This non-stick ceramic sauté pan with the vented glass lid is very sturdy. This pan has good heft but not overly so. The lid has round rims and fits perfectly. This saute pan has a long handle and a short. This little over four quarts is a good size for most cooking which has an eleven inch diameter. It can be used on all cooktops and has a ten year guarantee; oven safe up to 400 degrees. There is a long list of tips to prolong the life of this product; I feel the best ones are always hand wash instead of placing in the dishwasher and never use sharp utensils. This pan and lid are very well made without any harmful substances which appears of good quality and craftsmanship.
