I bought this 2-pack of DEWALT 20V MAX XR 6Ah batteries because the price was too good to pass up, and I’m really glad I grabbed them. These high-capacity batteries last a long time, and they’ve made a noticeable difference with the tools I use most. Whether I’m running drills, saws, or impact drivers, the power feels consistent and strong all the way through the charge. One thing I appreciate is how much less often I have to stop and swap batteries now. For bigger jobs or long days on a construction site, that extra run time really pays off. They also charge up pretty quickly for their size, which is a nice bonus. The build quality is exactly what you’d expect from DEWALT — solid, reliable, and made to hold up to daily use. Big and heavy, but they lassssst!! Granted these are probably intended for things like Leaf blowers and Circular saws, but I use them on everything, including DeWalt's light stand. Lasts well over 4 hours on that (More probably, but I finished in that time!

I am writing this review in hopes of clearing up problems with new batteries not charging. I ordered the pair of dewalt 20v 6 amp batteries. upon receiving the batteries they had 1 bar filled on the power indicator. I put them into the charger I already had dcb 115. The lights on the charger indicate they are charged, even though the battery is still showing 1 bar filled. I had the items replaced, they sent a new pair of batteries out. The new batteries had the same problem. one battery in the new pack even had the light for temp activate. even thought they sat in the house for 2 days. I was about to return the batteries and somebody told my it was the charger. Even though they tell you its universal and any charger will work...they wont. Today I purchased the dewalt fast charger DCB118. and the batteries are taking a charge, finally. it only cost me another $95.00 Since they sent a second pair of batteries and all 4 are charging, I guess that makes up for needing to buy another charger. The sellers may want to add that to the description: THAT YOU NEED THE DCB118 FAST CHARGER FOR THESE TO WORK.

These have been good to me for years now. Would absolutely buy again.

These batteries provide a wildly long amount of work time with tools. I've used one fully charged to cover my entire backyard with a leaf blower. I have worked with an impact all day and still had battery remaining. I've put them onto vaccums and had way more run time than I needed for detailing a car and cleaning around the house, a 5 AH powerstack is good for that and it weighs noticeably less. I have powered a skill saw and reciprocating saw with the powerpack and done a day of work with one battery. I have punched holes through concrete with it on a hammer drill for jobs such as installing a dryer vent, it was a heavy handful to manage on tools but certainly did the job. I have impacted nuts and bolts off and on with ease using this battery on the impact gun. I purchased a pair of these batteries for $369.99 and they have shown to be awesome for preventing extra downtime charging tools. For some tools these batteries allow you to pull additional power out of the tool, for example, impact guns produce more torque, saws run stronger without bogging down during cuts, hammer drill punches with more force through material. Out of the starting gate: original quality, ran the dewalt weed whipper an hour with no glitches: 2nd one not tested yet was able to run grinder well for expected time

Got these on sale and love em. Battery lasts quite a bit longer than the regular ones. The rubber protective cover is a nice touch too. Definitely recommend
