Love my new knife holder. I know it is actually a tool holder, but I couldn’t find anything else that looked like it would hold my knives securely. And… Believe me I looked a long time.We like this so well that I’m ordering another one for my smaller knives, and my hubs is ordering one or two more for his tools.We did have to drill a couple of holes in the holder to make it fit my cabinet correctly but that was no problem.

I'm not sure I get how to interpret the 30 lbs. per inch spec. but they do hold well. Chisels or anything else with a flat surface, all the way up to my large and heavy Number 6 bench plane stay nicely. As with any of these holders, round items have only a small amount surface contacting the metal bars, so don't hold as well, but they do still hold round shaft items like screw drivers. They just tend to slide around a little more. Would certainly recommend these.

It is not a double sided magnet. It can't even hold itself on a metal surface. The magnetic side works fine for holding onto kitchen knives but you'll need to attach it some other way

This magnetic holder is extremely strong. I am using on knives. Have not tested on tools. You can fit about 6-7 large knives. The only comment is the color in photo is slightly off. It is more of a dark charcoal gray. I liked it so much, I order another one.

Easy to install and the magnetic power is so good it even holds hammers securely. A great addition to our laundry room wall to hold a few basic tools for quick access.

Solidly built . It was easy to install . The magnets are very strong and easily hold an entire set of Global knives . Couldn't be more satisfied

Strong enough to hold a dozen fully loaded double stacked 9mm mags.

These magnets are amazing to hang kitchen knives, etc. out of the way. I eliminated my kitchen knife block and now have more counter place plus drawer space as I had knives there also.
