Best Knife
Delivery was only two days from ordering. Used for the first time today cutting up fresh duck. This knife glided easily through thick bones and made my job much easier. By far the best knife I ever purchased.

freaking amazing knife (mercer 10" wavy-edge bread knife)
America's Test Kitchen reviewed this knife and loved it. It's funny because while they usually rate a bunch of products and list both a "top" item as well as some "notable" runner-ups, this time they just gave it all to this one knife. Apparently it beats out a ton of other competitors that cost way more too.I got the blue handle version because it's slightly cheaper than the black handle one for some reason, despite looking snazzier and being easier to find in the drawer of black-handle knives. So far it slices through loaves of bread with ridiculous ease. No complaints except I wish I had purchased this earlier.

Cuts like a champ
It works!By that, I mean that it cuts without slipping off the bread like some of my other bread knives do. It’s relatively inexpensive and I highly recommend it.If you’re looking for a showpiece, this isn’t it. It’s a no-frills, very good working bread knife. Like their chefs knife, it works great and is a super bargain. If that’s what you care about get it and you won’t be disappointed.

I like these knives
For me , I cook at home . These knives ae ,imo , An excellent buy .For the money the knives do what I want .Easy to get shaving sharp (with Whetstones) . I've only used 1 a few times But I am vey happy with it . Nope It's no a pro knife , but I am not a chef ,so I do not need the level of knife .The knife does everything I want and is easy to maintain . Feels vey good in hand .Not to large to make it a job to handle . Cuts (when sharpened like a razor) easy and quick . I would buy again in a minute , If I needed another .Out of the box ,it is sharp but I always get new knives sharper (you could just strop it and be very happy with the edge) . Also, If you are new to sharpening knives .these are an inexpensive way to work on your skills . Good bang for the buck , imo .

Great grip, scary sharp
The grip on this knife is amazingly ergonomic and grippy. It's also just crazy sharp, maybe it'll dull over time, but the first time I cut bread with it, it sliced through it like a butter knife through water, it was nearly effortless and left the bread without any compression dents. Admittedly, the bread I cut didn't really have a crust, but it still made very few crumbs and was very clean. I will have to try again with a sourdough bread for the ultimate challenge.Frankly, I'm little afraid to use the knife. I guess I just need to make sure I'm paying full attention when I'm using it and to definitely not let the kids cut bread with it.

Not flexible, but nice knife
Knife is nice, and super sharp, but the blade is not flexible. Description says “medium” flexibility, and with a curved boning knife I expected a bit of flex, but it is not at all flexible. Overall I’m happy with purchase.

Wow - THIS is a bread knife.
If you want to slice hard, crusty, artisan bread, buy this knife. It has a solid, sharp, long, hefty and well-balanced blade. Made short work, but very nice even slices out of my very crusty sourdough bread. I returned the highly-rated and severely underpowered electric knife I bought and got this one. So glad I did. Worth every penny.

Sharp as a very sharp thing.
So sharp, I used itself to cut open the stiff plastic packaging.Rated 4 stars not 5, purely because I find the yellow and black handle ugly. It doesn’t match anything else I own. But!!! It’s the sharpest knife in my *collection, by far.Re-enacted the samurai-sword and silk scarf scene from The Bodyguard perfectly using this knife and a 6lb brisket. Sexier too.*collection = regular kitchen knife block. I’m not some nutter that collects knives.

razor sharp 10 inch chef knife for < £9
I bought this as i want to practice wet sharpening and don't want to wreck my expensive knives. have to say i'm really impressed with it. I got it in a sale for less than £9doesn't have a full tang, but it seems sturdy and handle has a good grip and feel like it will put up with some abuseit made from x30 cr13 steel so should wear more quickly than really good quality knives, but been using it for a few days now and its holding up wellwill have to wait for it to blunt before i practice sharpening

Best so far, but room for improvement
Easily the best bread knife I've owned so far, but still not 5 stars. First off the positives; It's super sharp out of the box, the handle is comfortable and the curved blade makes cutting easy. This should be the reference design for all future bread knives. It's also good value for money. However, there are two problems I've noticed. First, the blade is too flexible. Some of the other reviewers have mentioned the same issue. Cutting through bread often leads to uneven thickness, especially when cutting through the crust. I've owned it a few weeks now, using it every day, and still can't consistently avoid this problem. The second problem is that contrary to what is printed on the blade, this is categorically not stainless steel. If you leave even a speck of water on this overnight it will be stained the next morning. I'm used to working with high carbon steel blades, so washing and immediately drying is part of my routine and this isn't much of an inconvenience. However, if you're the kind of person that leaves things to soak, or dry on the drainer you will have issues very quickly.

I like the grip and feel of the knife
I have a good quality high carbon steel chef knife. My latest Which magazine issue highlighted this knife as sharp and stayed sharp. Being a boning knife the blade is considerably narrower and slightly shorter than my chef knife and therefore can be put to a different use for carving in meat and vegetables where the chef knife does not fit due to its size . It is made from high carbon steel, the handle is plastic and of good size. I had it now for a couple of days. Indeed it is sharp and ergonomic. For the price it cannot be faulted

Professional quality and razor sharp
Top quality and razor sharp out of the pack. I bough this for de-boning chicken thighs and legs so I could use the de-boned skin-on meat for Asian cuisine and save the bones for making rich ramen broth. This knife make easy work of making intricate cuts. It is very solid, you can tel it's made from quality stainless and it stays sharp so it is excellent value for money.
