This basket is attractive, a good size, and useful for many purposes. I use it to hold magazines and file folders, and I may buy another one to hold incoming mail. I hesitated over the material, because it's plastic rather than 'natural' rattan -- but its material is actually more practical, as it's stronger and easier to dust, and it will not crack or break -- and, unlike natural rattan, it doesn't have loose ends that will catch on fabrics.
