Had some writing in the back that was not in description.
Everything else was fine except for writing all over the back pages of bibliography.

Should be owned and read by everybody
If you are reading this then today is your lucky day. You have stumbled upon a treasure trove of truly beneficial health knowledge. The book is not big but it's packed with vital information. The book is a real eye-opener if you are looking to improve your health. Anybody who says otherwise either didn't read it, didn't understand it, didn't apply it, or works for Big Medicine and attacks anything that promotes self-healing. (That's the dirty little secret that the medical cartel wants erased from the public's mind: with the proper care and nutrition, and avoidance of toxic substances, your body is self-healing.)I've been taking MSM on a regular basis for years and experienced only marginal results from it. Of course, I've been taking the low dosage printed on the label, which is 1/4 tsp twice a day. Then I read this book and upped my dosage to the levels stated within and saw dramatic results. I herein publicly thank the author for her research and effort in writing this wonderful little book.

This book answered the questions I had about sulfur. Donald is my husband. My name is Carolyn and I am an Alternative Health Care practitioner. I do a lot of research into nutrients. Silica and Sulfur are two nutrients most books don't mention at all! Everyone thinks we get enough of both because they are said to be so available everywhere. This is not true! All the processing, microwaving, depleted soils, etc, make it unavailable or diminish it in our bodies. Most multi Vit/Min products do not include either or both.I am also a Kinesiologist. With the knowledge of kinesiology I am able to find out if a book such as this one is filled with facts that are true or not. This book, MSM, on a scale of 1 - 10 is actually a 9 1/2!! Which is very high. If you would like to know more about kinesiology and how you can test a book such as this one, or test yourself for health problems, just send me an email.

It’s helping my RA enough so I am off the meds.
I bought this to see if it would help my RA joint pain and swelling. It takes awhile but it does help me along with exercise. The swelling has gone down as well as the pain . I have been taking one tablespoon 2x a day for a month now. Of course I started out with the 1/4 tsp and worked up to my current amount. Also I have noticed my skin isn’t as dry , feels a lot better and has a healthier look.I believe I am feeling better all over.I am off of the RA meds .

MSM has helped me
I was expecting a book, hence the 3 stars . I'm amazed how much MSM has helped me with joint pain.... I highly recommend it. As you start looking at MSM products on Amazon you'll notice some say OptiMSM as the ingredient. OptiMSM is MSM made in the USA. You may want to include a natural source of Vitamin C like Rose Hips. I switched from pills to powdered MSM because I wanted to up the quantity I was taking. It has a slight bitter taste in a drink so I mix it with sparkling water and a little bit of juice. Begin slow (I started with 4 capsules) and then work your way up slowly... it may take a few weeks to really notice major effects... At work I or if I'm travelling I recommend taking capsules. I personally avoid tablets. I highly recommend MSM.

Inaccurate information, needs revision and better editing
First of all, this is not a book but a 30-page brochure with a price printed on the back that is 25% lower than what's offered here. Secondly, the author calls glutathione an amino acid (page 13), which is a gross mistake for someone who is a Ph. D and has been in nutrition field for decades. Glutathione is a thiol comprised of 3 amino acids but by no means an amino acid itself. By the way, Dr. Mindell makes the same bizarre error in his book "The Power of MSM" calling glutathione an amino acid on several pages. Thirdly, the brochure is outdated (1998) and needs to be revised since a few human trials just came out (2011-2013) and one animal study showed that at a massive dose in mice (6 g/kg body weight) MSM caused organ atrophy which shows MSM may not be completely safe at very large doses for prolonged periods of time, although this dose was uncommonly high, still readers need to know this (Assessment of safety and efficacy of methylsulfonylmethane on bone and knee joints in osteoarthritis animal model. Ezaki J et al., 2013). Also, editing is not the greatest: a few sentences miss words, or have repeated words. To me this brochure was a disappointment.

Introduction to MSM Very Helpful! Pointed me in the right direction!
I tried the MSM and many of my aches and pains disappeared, especially those that occurred after sitting for a movie for two hours. I couldn't get out of the chair without a struggle and now I just get up with no problem. I am not young as you may guess, but I do recommend reading this book as it is very helpful. I then went on to read the book by the doctors who did the actual research. However, just reading this book is enough to get the benefits from trying MSM as full instructions are there.

Crohns disease and MSM
This is the go-to book for anyone who has Crohns disease. Especially if it was newly diagnosed. I have Crohns and had tried EVERYTHING including infusions, and frankly I would have gone to a witch doctor if I thought it would help. My naturepathic father found this book years ago and has been my "cure" ever since. This gives you the exact science behind MSM and the recipe (super easy) water and MSM to take. I probably have bought 50 of these books over the years and give it away to anyone that I hear with Crohns disease. This works.
