Ordered a 4 piece set and only received a set of 2. Got a refund and ordered a 2 piece set and it came missing the front legs. Called the number they provided to Amazon for customer support and it rang a couple times and then went to a voicemail that sounded like a cell phone voicemail. I will not buy from this seller again. The positive side and why I gave 3 stars and not 1 is that the 2 I did receive and put together (fairly easily I might add) are very nice and sturdy. They are exactly what I wanted, just couldn't seem to get the number of them I want.

The screws fall out constantly. We have screwed the screws in so many times that now the wood is splitting. It’s such a shame because they are beautiful and comfortable but terrible quality. I would return them if I could. Edit - The customer support for this company is top tier. I told them the issue and they gave us new chairs. We may have the same problem, but we also used wood glue this time to keep them together. Hopefully they hold.

When these bar stools came I was very impressed by the way they looked, but after having the just a few weeks they keep loosening up and are wobbly they will need to be taken apart and put back together with wood glue I suppose. But they look nice

These stools look great, but the quality and design are seriously lacking. The "X" brace that forms the legs is nearly impossible to assemble because the screws provided are too short. I'm fairly experienced with assembling furniture, and even I struggled with this. Once assembled, the structure feels unstable. The pressure on the X-leg design is too much for the short screws to handle, and the footrest sticks feel fragile — they’re likely to snap with any real weight or even a strong step. I can’t see these lasting long with regular use, especially by adults. Disappointing overall. Returning them while I still can.

These counter height stools are remarkably well made. The fit and finish of the wooden pieces (all solid wood frame) and upholstery is uniformly excellent. Assembling is a piece of cake if you are handy, and only a slight headache if you are not. There are a lot of screws! That's a good thing (going back to that sturdy thing). Even nicer is that the pieces all fit together perfectly. The screws seat well. A drill/driver is super helpful. Out of all the screws (I assembled four chairs) only one stripped out, and I substituted a slightly fatter screw from my garage and all was well. The stools are quite comfortable. They are solid but not overly heavy. My only disappointment was that I expected the upholstery to be light gray from the description, but it is actually beige. Not a big deal, and the description doesn't actually say the upholstery color is gray. Overall, I am thrilled with the quality and the value of these stools. One suggestion I have is to purchase plastic rung protectors. It feels so natural to sit down and rest your feet on the front and/or side rungs of the stools, which have a nice painted finish but will, I'm sure, not hold up to foot traffic. You will need three protectors per stool. I purchased the Tugaizi 12 piece rigid clear plastic slip-on chair rung protectors from Amazon and they fit perfectly after trimming to length with scissors.
