Had to reread it and buy it for my son
Brought back some great memories, made me smile like I was a kid again, he is an awesome writer. I’d suggest it for any kid to read, it’s not for everyone I suppose though. Came a little beat up but It was most likely a packaging and handling thing which happens. Thanks!

Kid Squatcher Saves Dad and the Day When Mt. Saint Helens Erupts
A kid comes home from school after his mom has gonen to Egypt for an archaeological dig to find his dad has traded in his mom's beloved compact car for a muscular, red off road jeep. Dad has had a secret: he's a squatcher, who's going to go on an expedition to find Bigfoot with a famous professor and his team. Years ago, dad was saved by an unknown but smelly forest friend who built a warm nest for him and then left him, which the boy's dad never forgot. Eventually he put nest and tree breaks together and came up with Bigfoot. Dad has another secret, too, but he does not know it. He's a landlord and one of his tenants is a famous Northwest thief on the run, whose daring criminal exploits shocked and tantalized the press when he jumped out of an airplane with his loot. Dad goes on the expedition but he has set up a secret system to communicate with his mysterious tenant, who is being watched by a retired FBI agent, who figured out who he was but couldn't bust him. The characterizations are rich, colorful and realistic. The action is reasonable, the squatch turns out to be a gentle giant, and the boy saves the day and helps the celebrity thief turn himself in to the authorities. Sasquatch was a good read. It was published and printed by Hyperion, a bonadife publisthing house unlike many of the recent Bigtoot/Sasquatch books which seem to be published by Indie publishers today. In addition, Sasquatch was very well written--professionally so--which added to my enjoyment. The characters, story line, action and premises in Sasquatch are good and add up. I recommend it to anyone who l ikes outdoors adventures written at a teenage level. .

Good book
My son bought me the 2nd book in Smith's series from his book fair at school; so I began reading them out of obligation, but I truly did enjoy the read and how Smith develops the characters. I have now bought and read all the books and I cannot wait for his next and final one in this series.Smith does a great job at developing the characters and sucking you into the story. You can't help but root for the good side while trying to overcome the villan and his forces. He also adds in some mystery and twists to keep you interested along the way! Definitely recommend for middle school readers and if an adult wants an easy read then this is the way to go.

A fun and pleasing read. This is more in line of what I think of regarding Sasquatch. Good story.

I donated this book to the school library where I was volunteering. The kids really seemed to like the book--it got checked out frequently.

Great book!
My daughter's teacher read this book to her class and they all loved it! She wanted the book for herself so she bought it with her own money. She has already read it to her sister and I. We really liked as well!
