Unknown Quick Release Set 3 Pieces with 5-Point Lock Theft

I was looking for a set of anti-theft skewers for my day to day bike so i wouldn't need to carry my lock wire around, and also have a piece of mind when leaving it out and about. Fit perfectly on a hybrid bike, length of skewers ideal. very easy to fit and build quality from initial looks seem to be fairly decent, especially for the price. locking my bike up with a bit more confidence now

Still leaves the bike vulnerable but definitely safer than quick releases. It is a trade off between security and convenience if you need to change a tire. great value

These are good, and function as expected.I’ve marked them down to 4 stars due to a specific issue, which I’m not sure if it’s my fault or not.I could only fit one of the spindles, as the other one was too short, and no, I hadn’t fitted a long one to the wrong wheel. Check before you buy.

I've used safety skewers in the past, but they were removable with an Allen key. These come with their own key that you need to use. Simple and safe way to secure your wheels and seat post.

Excellent product fits easily onto the bike my husband is building from scratch. Fast efficient seller would definitely recommend will be using them in future if they have the relevant parts I require.

better than quick releases, and better than security skewers that use an allen key to undo, but even though these use a fairly unique 5 sided key, unfortunately all the security skewers in this design can easily be removed with just pliers- that's how my wheels were stolen, at least they were so easy to remove that they didnt have to destroy my frame in the process ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ so they provide slightly better protection against theft but realistically 2 d locks is still the best solution, whether these are more secure than a cable lock through the wheel, probably equally poor, but at least these have the advantage of always being there, but dont get complacent, these are just additional security rather than primary security, if you want a better product you have to go up to something like pitlock or pinhead

These are super easy to install and provide some additional level of comfort and security over quick release wheels - although when you start looking around you see plenty of other bikes with the same pent-shaped key. But it's more secure than the quick release latches. My only grumble is the spindle for the seat saddle is the same diameter as on the wheels and in practice it's too thick to replace the seat saddle spindle meaning I've had to retain the standard hex key on the seat saddle. I also suspect that the alternatives on Amazon for 25% less are probably just as effective.

they do the job but I wonder if you can purchase a spare key because if you loose the only key how do you get the wheels off
