Best precious metal polish but expensive
Simichrome is probably the best-known polish for gold and silver. It is highly abrasive and contains ammonia like most other metal polishes. Use with care on gold and silver plated objects as it is liable to remove the plating if applied too often. It is very expensive so it should not be wasted on non-precious metals.
