Well made and very decent quality despite some of the naysaying reviews. Patterned tiny bulbs produce exceptional illumination with potent effective lighting and emitting prominent heat that feels like it's doing it's job. This thing has definitely made a difference in the healing process and appearance and I highly recommend. Beyond worth the tiny investment as the rewards and results will prove. Dedicate 10 to 15 mins with a small amount of attention maintaining steady concentration on area treating and theses efforts will pay off in very short time. Light's are VERY strong and caution should be heeded. Clamp is sturdy, connection of bulb to socket secure and flex neck is strong. A must for anyone struggling with certain skin issue's and bare in mind that research is relatively new so opinions and science on this might be slanted and or limited.

I’m having issues with hormonal/cystic adult acne and previously used a small handheld light. This one is so much easier to use on larger areas (whole face, neck, etc) than the little lights. I like that I can just lay in front of it and not worry about moving it every few mins.I had a noticeable improvement in my acne and inflammation in the first week of using it ~ 10 mins/day. It works better for me than most topical acne creams. I’m not sure if it will work this week for everyone, but if you’re struggling with cystic acne or red inflamed bumps this is definitely worth a try.The first week my skin felt a little itchy, but I honestly think it was all my scabs and scars healing. Even my husband told me he thinks the light has really made my skin glow and brought it back to normal. Glad I found this affordable option.Only improvements I would say is that the lamp base is kind of cheap and the LEDS are exposed (aka there’s no cover/protector so you have to be careful not to touch it to your skin, or the oils might ruin the LEDs).

I'm writing this several months after the first update and it’s gone from working on and off to working all of the time now. Which means I've been using it more often and I now feel this was definitely worth the price.The longevity of the bulb is impressive. It continues to shine brightly with no problems. Who would've guessed after the initial inconsistent performance that this would grow into something I can rely upon. This makes the $29 price I paid well worth it. The better results from the addition of the yellow light compared to just the blue and red lights in my older Ruby Lux bulb are impressive too!•••••••••••••••••••••Review Update•••••••••••••••••••••I'm writing this a few months after my initial review. Instead of tossing this light when it stopped working I left it in a box with some other things I couldn’t throw out just yet. Upon testing it again right before I was going to toss it I was surprised to find that IT WORKED!!! It seems flakey at best...working sometimes...sometimes not. Of course making sure it’s screwed in completely is necessary....but regardless of that it sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t. So for now I'm keeping it and using it when it's working!I would love it if the maker would improve upon this problematic aspect and also include some kind of smooth disc cover that could easily be cleaned. Right now I have it covered with an acetate type of sheet so I can clean it if/when it comes in contact with my skin...which is definitely does since I'm using it to treat acne.It is really an awesome treatment for acne btw and unique because of the yellow lights! •••••••••••••••••••••Original Review •••••••••••••••••••••I liked this light and used it maybe 5 times but then it died. It wasn’t super expensive but it didn’t last very long and it doesn’t appear that replacement bulbs are available. The reason I liked it was because the combination of colors is unique and it was very bright. I had a Ruby Lux light before this which didn’t include the yellow lights and was much smaller. So using the bigger light meant I could treat the areas I wanted to much faster.

No evidence it works. Super bright as a lamp. Gets warm.

It seems to speed up healing time for pimples. Either way i feel like a pampered house plant when i lay under it :) nice and warm, clam and sleepy.

I love it so far 2 days of using it. And I seen results right away. I suffer from from bad acne in my back and used the light as soon as I got it and it help tremendously with inflammation. I am in shocked how fast I am seeing results. Acne does not hurt as bad as it did and they shrunk tremendously. This is me after treating this area with everything under the sun including acne medication trentinion for 3 weeks straight. I have had this light since July, 2019. The way I use it. Is when I'm doing crafts, I have the light positioned so that it is on my entire body. I Wil sit in panties and bra, and the light is generally about 2-3 feet away from me. The light is generally on for about a hour or more. The more you use it, the more it helps. The first weekend using it. I got tons of compliments that Monday. That's how I know the light works. I let my sister use it, and it has smoothed out her skin, and reduced the darkness around her eyes from allergies. She actually looks 10 years or, more younger. Please do not get discouraged, the light works. I have seen it for myself, and witnessed it. You may not see it, but others will...
