Third time I've ordered these, they work great!
These are great for testing the action on a rifle, or teaching someone how to operate the gun. Bright blue to identify non-firing ammo. They have never jammed in any of the guns I've put them through. Confident to dry fire as the primer area is rubber. Latest set is for a Christmas gift to go along with a new AR for a first time owner.

Cycle through without an issue
I read numerous reviews about these and other similar products, eventually decided on these. Glad I did. I've had no issues with them cycling through the action of my rifle, they fit perfectly in all my magazines, and they are easily differentiated from live ammunition. I use them to help me practice my magazine changes to increase my speed, I also mix them in a mag with live ammo when I'm at the range to help me manage my anticipation when live firing. Well worth the money.

***Cycle fine in my AR***
I have not experience a single issue with these snap caps in my AR15.For the small percentage of reviewers complaining about the dummy rounds jamming in their receivers, I highly recommend that they pull their BCGs out and inspect their feed ramps. If you're having feeding issues with inert dummy rounds, that is usually a sign that your upper receiver does not have feed ramps OR the feed ramps on your barrel extension are not aligned properly with the ramps that are cut into your upper receiver and the tips of the dummy rounds are catching on the lips of the ramps. As for a product review, these do what they're supposed to do. My wife doesn't go to the range nearly as much as I do, and when she does she is usually just there with her handgun. Although she has shot a couple hundred rounds through an AR, she never really learned how to manipulate it. This became very apparent one evening when we were talking about home invasions and she pointed at our AR and asked what she needed to do in order to use it. We loaded up two magazines with these (I had two packs) and I had her sit there and just work the weapon, over and over again. Inserting mags, charging the weapon, ejecting mags, manually locking the bolt back, releasing the bolt, loading mags with the rounds, trigger work, safety selector, ect. In just one sitting she went from being timid and clueless to being able to lock a bolt open, inserting a mag, slamming the bolt home, and bringing the rifle to bear without hardly any thought...all without firing a single real cartridge during her training. Now when she goes to the range with the AR she is a completely different and more confident shooter who understands the rifle much more and is not afraid to operate the weapon.

Not bad, but they don't reliably feed through my bolt action rifle
These are nice generally, but they do not always feed perfectly in my rifle. My 223 bolt action rifle has relatively tight tolerances, but it was disappointing to not have a clean cycling of all 10 rounds in the magazine every time, using these dummy rounds.

Perfect for training!
Zero complaints. Fit just fine in AR-15 platform & cycle great. Perfect for function checks, dry fire, and training purposes in general. Would definitely recommend & buy again!

Excellent snap caps
Work perfectly. I only wish they made real rounds in this color because it would be very cool. That aside, one should practice working the action on their AR regularly especially if one and just cleaned it or is just a new gun owner. Knowing how the weapon ejects rounds and getting your muscle memory used to the level of force needed to charge your weapon is something that all gun owners should know. In addition to being able to practice loading your magazine, you will be developing dexterity that will serve you in the field or the range which can come in handy.

The first and most important accessory for new gun owners.
When I had left the Gun store with my rifle I had purchased some similar snap caps (dummy bullets like this for double the price that came in a package 2! The ones here on Amazon are a great value as you get 10 of them. This is a great value. These are paramount for new gun owners. They help you get familiar with the operation of your firearm and allows you to safely practice without the use of live rounds. For the life of me I cannot understand why they would not be the first accessory recommendation of a new gun owner. The more of these you have the better. You can practice dry firing and quick reloads. If your smart you’ll use them to intentionally cause a double feed (a jam where a bullet has not ejected properly from the barrel and another bullet has been pushed against in the reloading process) and then learn how to clear it all in the safety and privacy of your own home. This is great and in my opinion the first accessory you should purchase for any fire arm.
