St James of London Tonka & Tobacco Flower Cologne

I decided I needed a tobacco flower cologne in my life. It's not common to find at stores, where you can test it. I decided to take a leap on this based on the company's description of it, and because it's natural and made of oils. I am 100% satisfied! When I first put it on, there is a component to it that I can't put my finger on. At first I I wasn't sure about that. Now, I think it's perfect, and I love it! I asked both my daughters to smell me and tell me what they think.... They independently smelled, closed their eyes and smiled, while going mmmmmm.... Exactly what I wanted!

Another amazing cologne! Smells heavenly on my husband. Another one they carry is black pepper and lime which is one of my favorites.

This stuff smells excellent, if a bit soap-y.

Great light citrus fragrance. However, fragrance does not last long.

I agree with most of the other reviews - there is NO Patchouli scent in this fragrance, and it does not last long. Nice clean scent though. I have other St James scents that I love (Cedarwood, Sandalwood, Tobacco Leaf), and they are more accurate in their descriptions and seem to last longer. St James, time to rename and reformulate!

This fragrance was shown to me by my brother and instantly my wife loved it so I had to buy a bottle. We smelled the entire line and thought the others were good but that this one was their best. Perfect for the summer and in high heat. Projection is great while longevity is so-so because citrus dominate fragrances naturally don't last a long time. The name perfectly describes the scent. It's all about Oranges and Patchouli so you get the fresh blast of citrus while the Patchouli helps keep it from being to harsh or sharp.

Purchased from my salon originally and really enjoyed the scent. Unfortunately they no longer carry St James of London, tried to order through Amazon and received a completely different scent which is not a very pleasant scent.

Okay, this smells just like the casino up the hill. It's a nice smell, but it's definitely the smell they pump into the casino. If that's your thing, then this is the go-to item. If not, then I'd stay away from it. (btw, I was curious what a tonka bean smelled like. Who'da thunk they smelled like casinos)
