It has enabled me to cook more meat and utilise my conventional oven for roast veg, Yorkshire puds and alternative meat cuts for a large family

I have been running smaller versions of this design for over 10 years, I still do. Every now and then the need arises to cook something that needs more space and to date that means powering up my big old conventional fan oven, (difficult to keep clean and involves bending to check progress - but good for heating the rest of the kitchen).Anyway I have now invested in this and I dig it out when needed. It takes up space, but provides the same easy cooking experience as the smaller one. I usually start cooking joints or poultry (breast down) on one side and rotate the meat about 1/3 the way through the cooking process for a faster even cook. The greater space helps to get improved air flow around smaller items that were a close fit in the smaller one. Very pleased with it, but it is big....

It came quickly and had 2 wire racks plus a basket mine slightly negative us that the stand underneath is quite a diet trap because it has lots of crevices would be better if it had this covered

This is our first Halogen oven and we bought it on recommendation. To be really honest we are somewhat disappointed. They are not all they are made out to be...they cook yes, but not perfectly, you do have to keep taking the top off to test every thing. But on the plus side it does cooks a whole chicken perfectly if you do it Spatchcock style.only 3 stars for this item.

I love my Halogen oven. This is my second one and can't do without it. I hardly use my conventional oven.You can roast, grill ,bake all in one item. Only one problem with ANY Halogen oven is that although it will washthe bowl itself, the top is rather a more difficult job. You cannot immerse it in water so any grease can build up and becomes harder to remove. I spray a bit of ' degreaser ' on a cloth and wipe as much grease away as possible .However, these are brilliant and would 100% recommend.

I love this little cooker,I had one before and I think I wore it out i used it nearly every day,I had it a few years. Let's hope this will last as long. I cook chips which don't take long sausages chicken all kinds of things in no time at all, warm bread rolls croissants pasties etc, saves putting my big cooker on saves electric.if this one packs up i would definitely get another

So apparently they are not designed to be used everyday.AND the heating element is a consumable....even though the oven was only 4//5 months old.Your alternatives are:a) send top unit of oven back...a heavy section, made with glass...expensive.b) have the heating element sent to you to replace yourself (then what happens to the warranty?).I chose b) and it arrived broken in the box (box is TOO small). I have inform seller, no reply to date....
