Good quality, looking forward to building her….

Excellant model overall.
This particular model had excellent details throughout. All parts fitted well with little problem although not having a jig to support the model made certain parts quite awkward to fit. Very pleased with finished model and would recommend it to any motor bike enthusiest.

Very good for a project
Always pleased with Tamiya models. I am just starting on this one, it is very detailed and quite challenging to get a good outcome but very worthwhile.

Bought as a gift, so can’t give a full review.

Various parts on build difficult to do.
Normally Tamiya kit parts are usually so very easy to fit together but struggled to fit the engine into the front chassis on this model.

Tamiya models - a little bit of the real thing
As always Tamiya models are highly detailed and accurate replicas of the real thing. I purchased this Yamaha YZF R1M for my Dad’s 60th birthday and he really appreciated it. Spend the extra money and get detailed forks and suspension kit to go with it for that even more realistic look with gold anodised front forks and a yellow rear spring - the box does mention this kit is available too and gives you the kit number do you know what to search for.
