I wish I could give 4.5 since one fixture had a crack around the threads for the plate that covers the mounting bracket but I was carefully not to over tighten the rod that screws in and make it worse and you can't see it unless you're on a step stool and up close. The dome also had a bubble in the glass on one that let extra light show through but i rotated it so it's not noticable. All in all I was happy and not worth returning.

We put two of these over our 8 ft granite counter. They are bigger than I expected which is great because they have a strong visual presence without being overwhelming. The fixtures come with extensions so they can fit different ceiling heights. They match really well with our stainless steel appliances. We put them on a dimmer which was a great idea because they provide great light when I use my counter as a working area but they become nice and intimate for entertaining. Great purchase.

This light is being marketed under different names by different stores. I bought one direct from Amazon that was defective. Bought the exact light from Menards, again defective in the exact same way. Previously bought a ceiling fan with marching light kit from Menards and it was defective in the same way, had to replace it. This line of merchandise should be pulled from stores.

Love these, but a little smaller than I expected. Found out after I installed them that they come in one size larger, so I ordered the larger size and then moved these to a different location in our home. Also, we needed extension rods, so I called the manufacturer and got the part number so I could order those, as well. Top notch quality!

This item arrived bent and dinged. The Glass was chipped and sharp. I was able to pull most of the dent out but would not order this again from amazon. I have never had this problem before and will contact Amazon for a replacement part.

Overall this is a great light. Looks attractive, takes up to a 100 w bulb - either incandescent or CFL, and it throws off a lot of light. I installed two of these lights, about 24" apart, and was able to go with 40 watt bulbs and still get plenty of light. The metal shade, the widest part of the light, measures approximately 9" in diameter. The only negative is in the somewhat limited ability to adjust the hanging height. The package comes with two 6" rods and two 12" rods. The height of the ceiling plate/canopy including the screw in piece is 2 1/2" and the height of the light's socket assembly is approx. 7 1/2" with the metal shade and glass bulb shade attached. This means your light must hang approx. 16", 22", 28", 34", 40" or 46" from the ceiling. This is determined by adding 10" for the light hardware to whatever rod configuration you choose. Those are your only hanging length choices.Forgot to say the rods are threaded so they can be screwed together to get longer heights.

Absolutely loved the fixture, it looks beautiful in my room. However, it was not packed correctly and the top part of the fixture was bent so it doesn't hang perfectly straight. :(

Used in two in powder room with nautical decor theme. Looks great, quality was super, came with multiple rod lengths so height was not a problem.
