Q: Are these machine washable? I work in an Italian restaurant and spaghetti sauce can sometimes get everywhere

They are hand washable, but I put them in a net bag on the gentle cycle in the machine and they've been fine

Q: I work in sterile processing will these pass as surgical caps

It would be best to show this to your employer & they could tell you for sure. To the best of my knowledge I will say no they will not work in sterile processing because the the cap has netting with holes in it.

Q: How exactly are these adjustable? I am an adult but have smaller head so definitely need adjustable. Dont want hair in food-in other cute suggestions?

These have a nice elastic back. I have an average head and my hair is very silky. No problem keeping the hat on and it was comfortable
