Got this for my Nephew who is in his Dinosaurs phase and he loved it! He is obsessed with The Land Before Time when they all "hatch" at the beginning. Now he can play "Hatching" all day! Great for counting, color sorting and everyday play. The eggs are bigger then I expected but the Dinosaurs are small enough for a little one to pop on their mouth, so definitely purchase with caution if you have a little one who likes to stick everything in their mouth. Other then that I highly recommend this fun learning tool!

The counters are soft, yet durable and was fitting for my 4-year-old boy who loves dinosaurs. We used this to teach him to count, sort by size and type, to identify patterns, and to sort and identify colors. The possibilities are plenty. The tub came with an activity booklet. I didn't use it. In fact, I don't think I even took a look at it, so I can't speak to its practicality. I highly recommend this for young, preschool-aged children.

This is easily one of the best toys I’ve ever gotten for my son. We have had it for 2 years (since he was 3) and he still plays with these. If you have a child who loves counting and numbers, they should really enjoy this. He only had a problem with the similar yellows for the first few times playing with it. Not that big of a deal for us, and when you put the two side by side you can see the difference. My older daughter even plays with him w/ these. They mix up the egg colors and use the dinosaurs in any little house they have. It’s one of him main toys (he has too many toys) and I’m glad this is a favorite.

My kids loved it, going to bring it to my classroom to test out with lots of little hands. I gave it a 5-star review, and I stick by the fact that I love it, but, I would have to say I do have some notes on it though.The dinosaurs are very similar in color, yellow/ less bright yellow, blue/ turquoise. It was even a bit difficult for me to sort out the two shades of yellow because they are the same dinosaur shape. I would have preferred if the colors had more difference in shading. The only other concern I had was that the eggs themselves don't seem completely sturdy. I haven't had a problem yet, but I keep worrying about when one is going to break. As a side note: if you lose one piece, the toy is not going to be completely functional, which stresses me out (I am saying this as I am hoping that my son borrowed one of the eggs for his road trip and that it is not lost because I can't find it anywhere.)All in all, a very fun toy. It kept my kids entertained for quite a while, and it kept me scrambling to make sure all the dinosaurs were kept in the same place and not lost!

I have worked in early childhood education for 18 years. These are your standard plastic sorters, good size, well molded... I bought these for my 3.5 year old spectrum son so he could get more experience with colors and patterning before we hit preschool. our only issue with them is that it took forever to figure out what kind of dinosaur is passing for a triceratops. The book that accompanies this gives information on a triceratops and most kids probably wouldnt even notice the counters included only have 2 horns, but my son was insistent that I tell him the right name... Closest we have found was a rubeosaurus, and even thats not right. I need to go now and spend the day learning about my sons favorite subject again, and thats never a bad thing,,, would deff still buy them if I had a do over : )

My 3 year old loves this! Great toy since we are trying to learn to recognize numbers and helps with counting and colors! Plus it's so much fun! The eggs were a little hard for him at first to put back together by himself but he learned quick. Definitely will be looking into more this from this companyEdit - he still plays this all day every day since we got! And he's recognizing 2 numbers he didn't before!

Adorable learning toy with so many possibilities! My 2 1/2 yr old immediately matched them to the correct Dino figures he already has and called them their babies. Then he sorted them by color into the learning resouces sorting bowls that we got at the same time. We will eventually use these for counting and math work. The details are pretty good, especially when you consider the cost per item. I chose these over vehicles since this pack included over 100 and I wanted to be able to use them for math later. Fantastic way to learn while playing.Jan 2018 Edit to add my so still loves these BUT they are a nightmare for math. My son ahs ADHD and cannot do math with these without befomi g distracted by color or species sorting. We homeschool and it is excruciating to get through a simple problem of 12 minus seven when your kid is compulsive about having 12 triceratops who must be sorted by color abd then must be color coordinated by to the appropriate trex for consumption...he usually cannot even remember what he was trying to add or subtract. We now use his KEVA planks for adding and subtraction. SO....if you are buying these for a child with ADHD to do adding and subtracting, I warn you, they may be too fun!

I don't know why, but for whatever reason, these are a favorite at our house. Maybe it's the color combinations, or maybe it's because the little dinosaurs are very soft and pleasing to touch. Anyway - a win on my part! Fun and educational! Oh - and fantastic quality!
