I recently lost weight and wasn't sure what size to get, but I trusted my instinct and went with the XL, and it was the perfect fit. My bust line is 48 inches in circumference, and the XL fits perfectly with a little room.Don't be afraid if it shrinks a little after washing, it loosens back up with wear. When I put it on after washing, I was a little nervous, but by the time I got back home from running errands, it was loose again and fit perfectly. Also, it kept its colour after the wash. I will say that it feels a little teensy heavy on my body, but I do have nerve damage and Rheumatoid, so that could be why it feels that way to me.

This dress is NOT a tent! It drapes in a lovely way and the pocket details accent the drape.Most important ( and I washed the dress upon receipt), the linen fabric is quite nice--quality wise. And the dress washed in cool temperature perfectly. So (if it Ever comes) welcome summer in this airy, fashionable dress in the big city where black fabric covers up the collision of every day life

I'm 5'7 and this hits right at my knees, so the rise on each side is about 3 or 4 inches above that. A little shorter than I care for, but still keeping it. Love the look and fabric.

Gifted this to my mom. Runs bigger than expected

I wish it were a straight a line instead of having the scalloped edge. I guess you can all around at the bottom. It seems to balloon out about around my knees.
