Before you buy a lyra, please understand the difference between stainless steel (what we sell) and carbon steel (what the others are selling)! Why stainless steel? Simple: stainless steel will not rust and carbon steel (what less expensive lyras are made from) will. The alloys found in stainless steel react with oxygen to provide a protective film to withstand rust. Please see the last photo for an example of what will happen to the most common lyras on the market in less than a year. We can also powder coat your stainless steel lyra to a variety of colors. Pick a color on the RAL color chart (in photos) and send us the number correlating with the color when you order. You will not find this quality for this price anywhere! We use thick tabs that are professional welded to withstand the stress that aerial arts require. Metals are getting more expensive and stainless steel is astronomical. We found a solid connection at a reasonable price, so we are passing the savings onto you. PLEASE NOTE: We have changed our tab design to be more angled and comfortable.
