Unlike others this works perfectly and you can really see the light perfectly clear I can recommend this to anybody who wants to do the job and be safe!Always do a test before hand to make sure it's working you can test it by just placing a finger on the top and on the tip and the light will light up.

Bought a couple as replacements for ones I’d had in the past. Always handy to have 2 in case 1 gets mislaid. Nice & solid screwdriver. Works perfectly.

Ok for job at hand

Had one of these years ago and lost it. I was made up to see it online and snapped one up. Great for quick testing of live cables, both on live terminals and the surrounding area. I love the fact that you can open a plug with it and simply test the fuse using its continuity feature.Just hold one metal end of the fuse barrel in one hand, then touch its other end with the tip of the screwdriver, placing a finger or thumb of the other hand on the metal top on the screwdriver .If it lights up the its good, no light then it has blown the internal fuse wire.TIP:Always check the battery in the screwdriver is working before you do your continuity test by following the above example without the fuse this time, just touch its tip to one hand whilst the other hand is touching the metal end of the screwdriver.

I have had lots of these over the years, excellent bit of kit & so versitile

Bought this after reading the reviews, more fool me. This is a great little screwdriver but as a electrical tester it's a no no. It can detect an electrical current in a lump of wood. It could even detect an electrical current whilst still in its wrapping. Even when nowhere near a electrical current. Screwdriver yes. Electrical current tester no.

J'en avais un depuis de très nombreuses années et content d'avoir retrouvé celui ci. Détection sans contacts, mesure de continuité très pratique pour les fusibles.
