Nice Variety of Colors
There was a lot of thoughtful design that went into this. From the reusable packaging, including two of the more commonly needed color, black and dual tipped for different design needs. I haven’t used these yet, but I’m really pleased with what I see so far. I tested every marker, they work well (not dried out). They are indeed, fine tipped on the one side for detail work and a less firm, wider, paint style tip on the other side. The one thing I did note is that the blue isn’t true primary blue like what comes in the Wilton brand, I’ve used. The product picture indicates a bright, aqua/sky blue color and that is what was received. The other thing I noticed is the brown marker, both tips produced s fine line. Maybe the brush style needs broken in a bit? I also noticed the purple shade is a very dark shade of purple. On things like bread, I’m not sure if it will look like purple or more like black? I only note these small nuances in case that is important to someone. They don’t bother me at all. I’m used to having 5 shades to pick from in my last set, so to have all these color options and dual-top will be really nice. I use food markers every so often for bento box food art, to add a little detail to food items my child will be eating. I had a pack of 5 from Wilton for a number years that still work. They say they are very fine tip, which is not the case. I was tired of trying to draw on breads and such and getting such sloppy results because the Wilton tips were so thick. I can’t wait to use these new ones and get more precise lines. The only nit-picky issue I have (which would not prevent me from buying in the future), is the design of the dual tipped caps. I wish one of the ends were different from the other to help signify that one cap was the finer tip vs the brush tip. When I pack my bento lunches in the morning, time is of essence, I am often in a rush. I get up close to the ungodly hour of 5:30 to have the lunch packed in time to get my kid to the bus stop on time. It’s a difference of seconds, but it really does make a difference on the days I’m making a “fancier” lunch that requires a few more added detail, which might include using these food markers. And having to fumble with which end I need is one more step I’d rather not need to make when my brain is still fuzzy.

Bakery-Quality Decorating at Home!
These edible ink pens were a lifesaver for decorating lemon cake pops for my daughter’s “bee-day” party! The double-sided tips made it easy to draw both fine and dotted lines for the bee flight paths. Colors were vibrant and didn’t bleed into the white coating. Used black only for this project, but love that the set comes with every color you could want for future baking. I can’t wait to try them on macaron shells next! Pros: • Excellent precision with dual tips • No weird taste or bleeding • Tons of color options • Affordable and great value for the set Cons: • Caps can be a little tough to snap back on, especially with sticky hands mid-decorating Absolutely recommend if you’re doing cake pops, cookies, or any themed dessert decorating!

So much fun!
I ordered these for my daughters’ “rainbow, unicorn, dinosaur, princess” birthday party. One of my twins had “painted” cookies at an event and loved it, and and so had specially asked to do that again. I used to decorate sugar cookies as a side business so the idea of frosting and sprinkles EVERYWHERE with a bunch of 4 year olds was enough to make my head spin. But no, she wanted to “paint” the cookies like she did at the event. I made simple sugar cookies, dipped them in a glaze and let them dry. I put these markers out on the table in a jar and let the kids go to town. Hands down, this was the most popular activity at the party! The kids LOVED it and had so much fun. The colors come out nicely and are easy to use. I did a few of these pictures and my 4 year old did the others, but we all had a blast using them. I love that they have 2 different tip styles. My only complaint would be the flavor, but I also understand it’s not easy to get vivid color with a flavorful MARKER. All said and done I would highly recommend

Work great on edible items for stenciling, drawing and writing last a very long time as well
I can't say enough good things about these pens. They work amazing on detailing cookies. They work well with stencils they work well with writing and I love the fact that there's double sides to each marker one with a fine point and one with a thicker point. Great if you want to do specific fonts while writing and great for filling in while using stencils, etc they last a very long time as well. Lots of great colors.

These are okay
They are not that great, they don't really write too easily on bread etc, they have a water color fade to them. It gets the job done okay for little things but there's no way I would use these for some sort of elaborate design. Eyes, nose, smiles, that's about it and it hardly does the job for those markings.

Did not work on candy melts
I got these to draw on melted candy coating (on cake pops) and they were impossible to use. It was like trying to get a dried up marker from the moment I open it. I was in a crunch to get a cake out so I ended up painting gel food coloring directly on the cake pops using the tips of the pens as a makeshift paintbrush. Oddly these pens were not dry and when I tested them out on a paper towel beforehand, it was like using a regular, brand new marker. I don't know what food would be similar to a paper towel but I do not recommend these at all if you are trying to draw on candy melts
