I’m thirty two and I only bought this as a Halloween costume for which it worked perfectly. However, something unexpected happened on Halloween night. It started in the kitchen; there was a cutting board left on the counter and my hand was magnetized toward it. Before I was even aware of the consequences of my action, the cutting board was flying by both sides of my hand, completely in half. I suddenly could not stop the urge to break boards with my bare hands. I was karate chopping everything in my friends house, snapping them like small twigs. Tables, chairs, bigger tables, his dog was barking like crazy as I chopped clear through his hardwood floor. Suddenly in the basement I was standing next the the granddaddy of them all, a foundational pillar upon which the entirety of the house was built upon. With one solid and unflinching swipe I had cut the house clean in half. I felt the pillar split as my hand easily flew through it like a knife through warm butter. Suddenly the house was coming down, and fast! I somersaulted up the stairs as the walls came down, I heard my friends confused hollers as I karate kicked through a window before exiting with a flawless front flip. Without even noticing, my beautiful blonde friends was in my arms, I had saved her, she leaned in to kiss me but my instincts kicked in. I rushed back into the house even as it was still falling, I was like lightning dashing from one room to the next. I had finally grabbed my beautiful brunette friend, she gazed into my eyes and I gazed into hers. It was then, in the reflection of her gorgeous, dark coffee brown eyes, that I saw the rafter beam falling. I turned and with one flying jump had made contact with the board. As it fell through the air I ran up it and out of the house that was falling around us, and reached the top jumping off and performing a flawless double backflip complete with a one hundred and eighty degree twist so as to turn just so that we could all see the house fall into itself. I set all five of my friends down safely. The blonde one I saved first came and kissed me on my left cheek, my brunette friend on the right. Suddenly I was thrust skyward and my three other friends lifted all three of us into the sky. As they chanted my name, I assured them it was nothing. As they set me down I took the hands of my two beautiful friends and asked them if they would like to finish the party at my house. They obviously said yes. As I was gazing into their eyes, I stumbled, falling into the street, I noticed a large pothole. Unable to avoid this I set my foot into it, deeply and twisted my ankle badly. I was embarrassed, my two beautiful friends were embarrassed for me as they hid laughter behind their false looks of concern. I yelled at them to leave me alone, not to stare at me in such disgrace. I had twisted my ankle, contrary to what the gi showed outwardly I knew on the inside I was no karate master. I fell into deep sleep, waking up November 9, 2016. The results were in. Donald Trump has been elected president. I wake knowing what this all was for. My gi, the house falling, saving those around me, followed by the despair. And I realize I am strong enough. So I am training. Everyday I train because I know America needs me... and America needs karate.

I love the weight to the material. The shape and appearance are exactly as pictured. The quality of the material seems good. The top fits perfectly, but the elastic and size of the waist of the pants is very disproportionate. The pants do not come close to fitting me. I'd have to cut off the elastic entirely and make the pants drawstring to fit. That is what I will likely do as the top fits fine. The belt that came with it is quality enough to use not problem. I would have had to mix and match sizes to get a complete outfit to work for me. I would not purchase again as I now have to alter the pants to get them to fit. If I sized up, the top would've been way to big on me. I'll keep the set though.

First purchased a size 5 (5'11 -6'2", 170-200 lbs) based on recommendation chart in drop down list (as of 07/2018) but it was ginormous. Personal size is 5'11" 180 lbs , 33" waist, 32" inseam. Returned and purchased size 4. Size 4 fit better but the shoulders are very wide though sleeve end properly at wrist. For my inseam I need to wear the pants on my natural waist instead of hips like I normally like or I'm stepping on the backs. Seems fairly durable for now though if you are into martial arts which involve more throwing or grabbing you probably will need a higher weight fabric. Overall I'd say it is just adequate.

It seems like a good product so far. Fits better than any gee I have used thus far, but that doesn't say much since I've been using the wrong size due to lack of availability in my area. The fabric feels thin and light, but in a cheep way. It's nice for after a hard workout that I haven't been wearing a big heavy gee anymore, but I also sometimes worry that I'll rip it accidentally. Overall, I gave it a decent review because it hasn't broken in the first month of use. I'll have to see how it holds up over time. Especially since it was so low priced.

I dislike the price tag for the black ones. But overall it is good.

I’m 5’7”/150lbs and I ordered a size 4 which is what it says is recommended for me and my jiu-jitsu instructor told me I’m a size 1. Showed up to my class without trying it on and it’s about 3-4 sizes too big. It was embarrassing and I had to rent one. Other than that it’s fine. Just a basic gi nothing special. Gets the job done

I am reviewing the gi after about 5 months of use (moderate training 2x a week). Buy a different gi if you can, especially if you plan to use it for up to a year. The gi is pretty lightweight, though not transparent. It was good for the first few wears, but after a few washes, the gi material 'lost its composure', stiffness and became shabby looking. It also has lost its white color. With tax and everything else I paid $30 for this. For $10-15 more, you can get something that will last you a lot longer and look better on you.

This did not fit as I had anticipated. I'm not sure if that was my error for not really understanding the size chart, or if the chart is off a bit. I'm not sure. I think I would buy again in a size smaller.
