Disappointing show-through on the pages
This journal feels lovely and the paper quality is reasonable. There's a very chunky elastic band that feels pleasantly different than other similar books. But the thing that has disappointed me deeply is that the thick bands of colour printed on the left hand of the page are so dark (and I choose the turquoise one, so not actually a dark colour), but on the journal, they show through to the other side of the paper. Right the way through the book. It's not the quality I want. And as this is aimed at creatives who care about detail this show through seems very sloppy. If you're going to use their system do it on something where you're not writing on the back of the pages - the notepad or cards perhaps. If you care about paper and stationery, then don't get this book. It's annoying and although useable, it'll upset your artists eye for sure.

Premium and classy product
This is a high quality product; it is costly, but it is of premium quality. Suitable for very serious and senior meetings. Can be used with fountain pen ink, and the dot grid design is simply perfect. Took some time to get used to the action boxes usage, but after a couple of weeks, the habit was int, and the effectiveness too.

Action method action journal
Expensive but quality questionable. Paper slippy, waxy. Overall In my opinion this is not a very attractive product. I won't be buying another.

Poor-quality bookmark lets it down.
This is a generally nice notebook, with plenty of pages, good quality paper and strong binding. The to-do list margin on every page is very useful, as you can flick back and tick things off, or look for ideas. My complaint is with the bookmark which, as you can see, has frayed badly leaving fine strands which stick to everything. Cutting it off isn't really an option as it just frays even more. I wouldn't mind so much if this happened with a cheap notebook, but this is a very expensive product. I'm afraid this poor-quality detail really lets it down.

Organised Ideas
Very nice quality, I buy a lot of note books and wanted something that was going to help me organise my ideas and to dos while meeting with other creatives as well as honing my own ideas and not letting them sprawl and become hard to identify or find. The action journal is a really simple concept I think is going to work well for me. It's certainly a really nice notebook to tote around to meetings. I suppose my only complaint is the first page is a half page, so there's a third of the space for note. I'd rather that page were left blank, but that's a small complaint. It is expensive, the quality is great but make no mistake, you are paying for the idea too. If it works it'll be great to have a go-to notebook for actioning ideas and helping see them through.

I was really excited at how lovely this was and that it had those 'action' notes on the side. Started using it yesterday and the action note bit is no good as it is so shiny the rollerball pens I like (and the fibre tips I've also tried) won't write on it. I'm cross as now am looking for another notebook to use for meetings - I'll go back to Moleskine I think.
