Q: What do I do with the triangle piece with posts, and with the amethyst that come in the kit? They are not mentioned in the instructions.

Hi Andy,You can use the display stand (triangle piece) to display the genuine specimen (amethyst).

Q: can this product expire if i wont do the kit in like a month ?

Jim, thanks for your question. Yes the “seed” crystal will glow, it is fluorite, a naturally occurring crystal that will glow. After the crystals grow, expose them to bright light for a few minutes. Then, take them to a dark room to see the glow.

Q: Do you need any additional supplies outside of the kit to grow? Some kits require an old sauce pan.
