Cigar Humidor Gaoduan Handmade Wood Cigar Boxes Desktop Cigar Storage with Hygrometer and Humidifier,Cedar Divider Royale Glasstop Holds 25-50 Cigars

I received the humidor a week ago and it seemed to be of decent quality, and looks nice. I followed the instructions on how to season the humidor and according to the directions, it should only take 24 hours. Wrong! according to the hygrometer, after a week of having using Propylene Glycol 50/50 Pre-mixed solution that should keep the humidor between 70%-75%, the hygrometer said it was at 59% and it literally took that long to slowly get that high. I decided to put 2 separate digital hygrometers inside the humidor to see the calibration was off and both of the digital ones are reading 69% and the one on the humidor still reads 59% and the directions say it is pre-calibrated and you cant adjust it.

I've got a ton of moisture in this thing and the hygrometer still says it's not up to 70 yet, after weeks. Either the hygrometer is off (which is my suspicion (I need to get a separate one to test it)) or the box doesn't hold any moisture (I doubt that, and even if, there is plenty of moisture ambient from the cups of water I've got in their to season it). I'd like to recommend it, but I rely on the hygrometer, so I wouldn't. Another disappointing feature - all of my other hygrometers have highlighted areas around 70, for easy/quick view it's in the proper range - this has no markings other than at the 10's, so you have to find 70 and then where the needle is. I'd look elsewhere.

Seems to be holding in the humidity well and has a decent seal. The built in hygrometer isn’t the best but light taps on it allows the handle to move better. However, the hygrometer is reading correctly so that’s a plus. Another downside I did not like is that you can move the glass top a little but nothing a little silicon caulk can’t fix and I recommend doing that to any glass top humidor anyways. Overall hygrometer is accurate, humidity is holding well even without applying silicon caulk, and for a cheap desktop humidor I am very pleased.

After reading other reviews I bought another sensor to ensure the box sensor was working properly. The picture confrims that it's almost exact. A nice box for a good price.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas 2018, last year and he has already had to invest in a new higher priced one because the seal isn’t great on this one.He noticed his cigars weren’t as fresh as before.

Beautiful box. Seems very well made, but the hygrometer constantly falls off the back wall. The glue doesn't stick to the plastic on the back of the container.

My husband loves this. Great value and made a great gift.
