Henschel HS 126 (Orange Series) Paperback – August 1, 2008

MMP does it again, with a rarely featured in detail aircraft, the Henschel HS-126 STOL/Observation aircraft. Filled with decent photographs of the aircrafts usage from the Spanish Civil war were the aircraft cut its teeth to the end of WW2. Also has decent diagrams of its construction and several color guilds of its markings and camoflauge . Plus photos of surviving pieces in a German museum. Well worth owning, mainly if you enjoy reading about the important 'odd ducks' of Aviation or want a decent book on the HS-126.

I am really pleased with this book. It has a ton of information and as an additional bonus it has color profiles of interesting camouflage schemes. I wish some of the interesting schemes had all sides views, but still it is a great resource for modelers and those interested in history of this plane. A lot of good pictures that show the plane's details too. Highly recommended.

ドイツ空軍偵察/観測機ヘンシェルHs126の資料本です。各型解説や戦歴などの本文は英語ですが、全208ページの大部分を実機写真(白黒272/カラー32)、1/72に統一された各型側面図、実機の取扱説明書からのイラスト(コクピット内も多数)、巻末のカラー塗装図集(51種)が占めています。実機が現存しないため、カラー写真は搭載エンジン(ブラモ323/BMW132)と、オリジナル塗装が辛うじて分かる残骸だけです。本書でしか見られない未公開写真も多く、Hs126の纏まった資料としては最高の内容だと思います。
