Makes learning easy
I got this for my son who is almost 2. He loves matching the animals to their pictures. Each puzzle piece has a little knob on it making it easy to pick up and place. This puzzle helps kids learn so much - not only animals and what they look like but using their motor skills too - I also play a game where I make the sound of the animal and have my son pick up the corresponding animal piece. He loves this puzzle and will play with it multiple times - putting the pieces in and taking them out etc.Overall a great interactive learning toy. It is sturdy and well made. Each piece is painted in detail with vibrant colors! Great toy all around.

Favorite toy!
Not just a puzzle. My 18 month old granddaughter loves all the animals. She learned the animal sounds, counts "one, two" (as far as she can go!), works to fit the pieces where the go - made easy with the pegs.Of all her toys at grandma's house this is her favorite!

Great first puzzle.
My son loved them until he was able to solve them. It's a great purchase for ages 1 to 2.Its complex enough for them to spend time on it and easy enough that they would keep trying until they finish it. Perfect for pincer grasp too. Now I rotate it out bi weekly to keep up his interest.

Pretty Good, A Little Thin
My 22 month old has had the puzzle about a week and likes it but doesn't love it. The pictures are very cute, and I think the number of pieces is perfect for the average 18-24 month old. But it's thin/lightweight and slides around (at least on carpet) while she's putting the pieces in and that frustrates her. The description of "sturdy wood construction" on the product page is a stretch. If your baby is easily frustrated and/or rough on toys and/or still puts things in his or her mouth, you might want to go with the chunky puzzles as they seem a little better constructed, though they are more expensive. There are several on Amazon, a few at WalMart, and I found one at Ollie's.

My son loves this!
My so. Is an animal lover! And this little puzzle really helped us teach him the difference between the animals while making there sound. My dog got ahold of the duck so that’s a bit chewed. But they have been stepped on, put in dog water bowls 😂. Dropped from high chairs and covered in spaghetti sauce. There durable and easy to clean!! This is a must have for any new born up to whatever age they keep playing with it at! Definitely get this. Out of all the toys my son had this is one he grabs everyday and uses it atleast once besides his hotwheels and matchbox cars. Recommend!!
