This stuff is awesome, great quality. It shoots about 20ft and the stream is intense! The container is 4oz and is as tall as a 16oz cup and about 1 inch diameter, not a pocket one. The 2 oz would probably be better for a pocket carry. Love the flip top and also the stream nozzle is quite big, this could be used on several people it sprays for 20-30 seconds i believe, would highly recommend for an easy safety device for anyone. This is a great alternative to carrying a gun or beating the s*** out of some douche! Plus there is less legal issues and also the person or persons will regret every second after they have been sprayed, this stuff is top notch quality and its potency is insane! All the other reviews will confirm this!

As a retired State of Ohio correction officer, this is the pepper spray that I used to use in use-of-force situations in the State of Ohio prison I worked at. It is extremely effective. However, don't forget to circle away from an attacker after using it to keep him from charging you where he last saw you, taking you down, and ground and pound you.This is meant as a self defense aid. You should still move away from an attacker after using it. What it will do is cause your attacker's eyes to involuntarily shut, make his nose run, and cause him to cry and cough a lot while making it difficult for him to breathe. I give Fox Labs Five Point Three Pepper Spray my highest recommendation.It is simply the best pepper spray I have ever used, and I have been sprayed with it as required by my employer. It messed me up for about 20 minutes.

I First ordered the 3 oz. size of this product. Found it to be a little small. I then purchased the 4 oz. size along with the Condor OC pouch. Fits the pouch much better. However, since the pouch itself is adjustable, both sizes can be made to fit. Dates listed on the bottle are "born on dates". Mine was 12/22/2016 which gave me almost a 2 year shelf life. According to Fox Labs it isn't the OC liquid that expires, but the propellant inside. They recommend replacing every two years. Just an FYI, I have a bottle of Sabre Red that expired in 2007 but actually still works. Haven't had to use it on any humans yet, but according to a lot of LEO's this is the best stuff out there. They sell the LEO top or the flip top. Get the flip top version, it's much safer to use and carry. BTW, It isn't the percentage of OC that's important, it's the amount of Scoville Heat Units (SCU) that matters. In this case it's 5.3 million. Be sure to check your local jurisdiction for legality issues.

My department exclusively uses Fox and supplies all its officers with Fox Lab oc. I have used this on violent drunks, violent males of various sizes and every time this spray has brought the subjects to their knees screaming in pain. In the academy I was sprayed with the Sabre oc and the Fox oc. I was not affected by the Sabre oc, a direct blast to the face did nothing to impair me or prevent me from finishing my task. However, a blast to my face from the Fox oc made me fall to the ground. A direct blast in the face from Fox will invoke temporary blindness, the subject will try to open his/her eyes but they won't be able to, they will have breathing difficulties, they will experience a burning sensation like their face is on fire,severe coughing, uncontrollable mucous will come from there nose and mouth, with effects lasting anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes.This is an excellent self defense tool. I give these to, and recommend it to all my female relatives and friends and with the flip top design there is a less likelihood of accidentally spraying yourself or going of in your purse. This is a serious non lethal weapon and should be kept away from children.The Stream Pattern goes 17 - 20 feet and Fog Pattern goes 12 - 15 feet.

Good size for larger hands. Well packaged in a resealabe plastic tube. Feels good in the hand. Spring loaded flip up safety cover is easy to operate, Seems to be very good quality. 1 second test spray shot at least 15 feet with a fairly thick stream that became gradually wider about 8 to 10 feet out . Appeared to have an orange color. Button requires a firm push down to operate (not easily discharged by accident) I did avoid breathing any so I cannot describe the effectivness. I have read it is very strong. I also have read that the percentage of active oc is not "more is better", but rather a ratio with the propellant to achieve better dispersal and more instant effectivness.

I had bought this product for my daughter to carry in her purse. Good thing she has a large purse. This product is larger than I thought it would be. This would probably be more than substantial to use on one person. I never had to use pepper spray before, but the youtube videos on this product prove it quite effective. I will probably buy a smaller can for my daughter for convenience and the large size is more difficult to operate for someone with small hands. This size may be used by law enforcement to maybe control a small group.

My biggest issue with purchasing pepper spray online has always been you never know how old the canister is or how long its been sitting around on a shelf. Pepper spray really only has a 2 year shelf life and after that its effectiveness is gone. This pepper spray is only 30 days old which means its going to be most effective for the longest period of time (hopefelly never have to use it) which means its the best value for the money.
