What a tremendous company!!
I bought this item to add to my security cameras I already had. If I would have known the kind of customer experience I would of had I would have bought all my other cameras with this company. So I bought this camera to add to mine because I needed more visual on areas due to issues around us. So I ordered it and got the camera really quick but I couldn’t get it to work so I contacted the company and from the very start I had such a wonderful experience. Louis contacted me right back and had me do a few things but it didn’t work so he said immediately for me to verify my address so that he could send me another one to test. Once I verified my address Louis sent the camera right away I got it within a day or two. The camera is better then the ones I have. The picture is clear and night vision is perfect. It does everything it says it does and is very much worth the price. The customer service here is without a doubt the best I’ve come across. If I sent an email Loius and Cathy always responded right back. So the camera came and it worked. Louis was aware that I needed this camera due to the issues I told him and saw to it it was here fast so I would feel safe. Louis and Cathy are the perfect example of how customer service should be handled. This company is a company who takes care of their customer and goes above and beyond to make sure they are happy. I can tell you honestly there’s a few company’s I know of who could learn a bit or two from this company. I hardly ever write reviews but this one was definitely needed. If you are looking to buy security cameras and want the best customer service and great quality cameras I strongly suggest you look no further but to this company. I know there’s companies that when you call or write in you get someone different each time and having to explain same thing over and over again but every time I emailed them Louis and Cathy was always the ones responding. To the upper management of this company I want you to know that you have to me the best two employees a company could ever dream of. So like I said this review was in need of being written so that others can know that this company is in fact in my opinion the definition of loyal customer service. I will only do business with this company for all my security camera needs. Louis and Cathy you are without a doubt the best there is. Thank you again for being so kind and for going above and beyond like you did. God bless you my friends!!!

A truly high performance camera at the entry-level price point!
About five years ago, I purchased a Q-See DVR and camera system. There had been a few break-ins nearby and I wanted something to supplement my security system. The cameras that came with the system proved inadequate due to low resolution and a narrow field of view. They also wore out rather quickly, giving me green skies and purple grass - not exactly what the police would need to get a conviction should a recording ever have to be admitted to court as evidence. I searched long and hard and upgraded to a set of VideoSecu cameras. At 400 TVL indicated, they were amazing, with a wider field of view and much higher resolution. The price was good too at $29 or so per unit. These proved adequate until a couple of weeks ago, when the break-ins moved onto my street. If the VideoSecu cameras have a shortcoming, and it can't be much of one at that price point considering how well they work and their durability, it's their night resolution. While checking my cameras after a break-in down the street, I found that the subject had been in my yard too, but that the noise in night mode made identification of a subject impossible. The police were happy to have the videos - they proved that the subject had been going up the street trying car doors - but they didn't allow the police to solve the incident. I decided there and then that an upgrade would be necessary, so I tried this camera. While this camera is not as much an improvement over the VideoSecu as the VideoSecu was over the Q-See, it offers a very noticeable improvement in night vision and an arguable improvement overall. Make no doubt, this camera is big for a bullet camera and it's heavy, but I think the price (lower than the VideoSecu by $5) and the increased night performance serve to highly recommend this camera. In a side-by-side test (I have two cameras that cover the same area from different angles), the ZOSI was much more clear in all light conditions and was pretty much without noise in streetlight-only illumination, where the VideoSecu covering the same area was subject to a great deal of noise. Under Christmas lights, when the VideoSecu was still black-and-white and noisy, the ZOSI offered a bit of color and a noise-free image. The field-of-view seems a tad bigger than the VideoSecu as well. Overall, this is a good camera and at this price point, is a truly stunning deal. I've purchased a four pack to upgrade my system. I'm really sure that I can't afford not to.

Good Hardware with Poor Software
The hardware was easy to connect and is reliable with good resolution. I wanted a system that provided the ability to record 24/7 with activity alerts. The problem is the software, including the system software, the mobile phone app, the desktop app, and the Alexa skill. First, the system software (preinstalled on the NVR) is tedious and not intuitive. Is not obvious where the various functions are located they are not grouped logically. Second, the mobile phone app is equally non-intuitive. It took a week to get push notifications to work with help from tech support. It required two NVR software upgrades to get the push notifications to work. Third, the desktop app is not consistent in layout or function with the NVR s/w or phone app. It is equally difficult to navigate and has limited functionality. Finally, the Alexa skill does not work. According to tech support, the Zosi skill is not designed to work with this system, so there is no Alexa integration at all. Not of software makes it particularly easy to review alerts - all menus and timeline contain different information (you see one thing in the system software, something different on the phone app, and something different on the desktop app). I gave the product 4 starts because it does work well for the price in spite of the software limitations. Would I buy it again? Not sure.

Zosi cameras - very good results!!
After much research for cameras for our house, I narrowed down my choice to this Zosi model for two primary reasons: the cost, and the many other overwhelmingly positive reviews. I had considered the wireless type of cameras available nowadays, but there were just too many reviews that mentioned lots of problems getting, and staying, connected, so I elected to go with the hard-wired video and power type. My thinking was that if the home wireless network goes down, or any camera's connection is unstable, then a wireless camera is useless. I purchased four of these cameras, so far, in April and May of 2017. I've installed three of them outside and they have performed flawlessly, rain or shine, since installation. I used the gray 3/4-inch PVC conduit and weatherproof gray PVC 4-inch round light boxes camera mounting. I drilled a 1/2-inch hole in the center of the box's cover for the cable to go into the box. I used flat head stainless steel machine screws to attach them to the covers, with silicone sealant applied to the screw holes for weatherproofing, and the same sealant around the bracket's edge for weatherproofing the bracket. It was a nice, clean, installation, with plenty of room inside those 4-inch boxes to roll up the connections. The picture included shows two of the three cameras in place. One of the four cameras I purchased has remained inside our house and is in use in our basement until it's permanent spot is ready for mounting. The camera's night vision range is excellent, but it's even better when there are reflective surfaces (sheds, lattice, etc) for the infrared to bounce off of. The video (both day and night) is very clean and crisp, and the best part is these don't cost 5 to 8 time more like the other cameras I looked at initially!! I have a UPS power backup for the system in the event power drops out. The cameras are being recorded 24/7. To add to all this, I recently installed an additional "entertainment system" consisting of 4-agile TV modulators (professional style) I purchased on that well known auction site (starts with an E) for very little $$$s each, fed by the camera's video, with their RF outputs combined to allow a single coax with 4-TV channels to connect to our 65-inch Smart TV's "TV" antenna input in our Master Bedroom. This gives us very LARGE pictures to look at of our property, and watch the Raccoons come and go, too, when there's nothing worthwhile to watch on cable TV. I did have one issue that came up with one of the four cameras within the last week. It's front "lens" (or glass) has fogged-up on the inside, for some reason, so I contacted Zosi Customer Service direct since I was beyond Amazon's return time frame. Zosi's handling of the issue has been absolutely fast and fantastic - best customer service I've received from ANY vendor in a long time. Special thanks goes out to "Anran" of Zosi Customer Service for the speedy resolution!! IMHO, these cameras are worth every dollar spent, and Zosi's Customer Support is superb!! What more could you ask for!!

Wow is all I can say powerful wide angle cam
Wow. I have multiple systems several 4 camera systems, 8 camera systems, and 16 camera systems. I have been buying cameras up to see what would fit best for applications. While I thought this would be a better focal cam to a doorway etc it shocked the hell out of me when I moved it to an elevated pole (I use 16’ 4x4 for several areas). When I finally chose to move it to an elevated area for a shot of the yard in front of my man cave I was amazed. This bugger replaced 2 as the cam has a great wide angle shot. As you can see. It covered half the roof of a tool shed (wasted screen we adjusted I know I know) so if you are like me and buying these systems and cameras up as these are becoming outdated (they still work great let folks buy WiFi ya get storms and power goes out these are still recording if you have back up power. WiFi and internet go down guess what kids they will rob you blind food for thought) anyway if you are looking for a cam to cover large area like a yard or driveway this is the one. If your looking for a cam for tight area like inside a garage or a room. There are better options. People are quick to complain when a camera they buy doesn’t suit the needs they want. You have to mix and match to find the rite ones for the rite area. Pliers will work all the time too but having the rite size wrench sure makes a job easier doesn’t it. This cam was so inexpensive I figured why not try it. Worst case I give it to a buddy for his system or keep it in a drawer. Use it as a paperweight if need be. You have probably paid more for a shot in some bars lol. Point is this is an awesome camera quality, picture, etc. I liked it so much I stopped to write this review before ordering 2-3 more. Yes I liked it that much. That I am replacing 2 others that I had already replaced just a week or so ago. Absolutely 5 stars. I’ll keep a back up just in case it doesn’t last, but the construction of the cam is very well made. In fact I dropped it 14 feet off the ladder and it still works perfectly. Well what are you waiting for order it and send a thank you note lol. Good luck

Quality good, Image quality good but……
Please see important update(s) below before you buy from Zosi!!!! I bought it for home use. The price is right, quality good, image quality good and sound quality fair but connectivity bad, ease of installation was physical, and performance could be much better! After setting up everything, my pc monitor shows ALL cameras recording in each direction I have set them to, unfortunately the Zosi app is terrible with 4 of the 6 cameras installed are on-line, 3 of the 6 show live feed, 2 of those 6 cameras do not show up on my network and 1 of the 6 needs a password! That one will not show anything as a password is required. The sad thing is that it was delivered that way! Why would a company send a camera that has been locked out? I tried twice now to reach out via only email and explained everything and still nothing! NO phone numbers are provided so I will wait! It is capturing everything on the 2T hard drive but traveling far away from home is a NO go if the Zosi app is not finding all the cameras and needs a password! I definitely need Zosi to reach out and help with these issue…. soon!!!!! I personally can NOT recommend this brand to anyone yet! The system could be great but with customer service managed slowly, hopefully, they will respond soon! UPDATE 11/10/23 It took over 5 days, but they have responded to my review, and we are in the process of resolving the issues. I am pleased ZosiDirect has contacted me. I have edited my original review to better reflect my opinion. Bumped up to 3 stars from 2 for replying back! Communication is key to good customer service! UPDATE 11/13/23 ZosiDirect has replied to every message I have sent regarding my 3 camera issues, however, I seem to be chatting with different people who are requesting pictures of the problems to fix it. Nothing is getting resolved and one person has requested my mailing address, phone number etc. which Amazon mentions they should NOT do. Big red flags are going off right now. I reached out to Amazon to explain everything and will be getting a replacement by tomorrow.

Nice camera, great price
Replaced one of my failed Lorex cameras. The original was $50, this one is obviously cheaper. I have been looking for cameras with wider view angle. The ones that came with my original DVR were fairly narrow, and getting adequate coverage of my house was difficult. This camera is very wide angle, and you should realize that getting slight curvature of the image is normal with such a camera. Anyways, the daytime image is quite good, and the nighttime image is contrastly, which I like. The old cameras are washed out at night. I plan to get more of these cameras and replace some of the others (I have 16). The cameras that came with my DVR were not very reliable, the nighttime IR failed on many of them due to bad connections in the camera (I know this because I fixed one of them). Obviously this is something I can only tell with time with this camera. The only thing I was not totally happy with on this camera is the mount, and adjusting it. To be fair, I haven't seen a camera with a mount I do like. To aim the camera you need both a pan, tilt and rotation adjustment. On this camera, they are coupled, so point the camera consists of loosening all the adjustments and basically just fiddling until it works, very non-intuitive. Of course, for my Lorex camera the mounts, even though they were a bit better, virtually of mine have failed because of cheap make, so this camera cannot help but be an improvement. On the other hand, I don't understand why these small CCTV mounts have to be so bad. A basic ball mount would do the job, but I don't see that anywhere.

Great Little Camera, but Difficult to Adjust
I purchased this camera and two other Zosi models, and my reviews of them all are identical. This is a great little camera for the price. The image is sharp and the IR night vision is remarkable. Also, the company provides terrific support and responds quickly whether you contact them by email, via the Amazon product question section, or through their website. The big issue I have with these cameras, and it's the same with them all, is they are VERY difficult to adjust. The first thing you notice is the tiny screws you have to loosen in order to make adjustments. The elbow screw, in particular, is especially difficult as it comes from the factory much too tight, which makes stripping the head is a real possibility. Then once you get the camera aligned properly you have to deal with the screw again, this time to tighten it. It is very cumbersome trying to tighten the tiny screw with one hand while holding the camera in place with the other, especially when you're 10+ feet in the air standing on a ladder. The elbow joint has "stops" that are too far apart to make minor adjustments, so if you need to position the camera between them you really have to tighten the screw down a lot to keep the camera in place, again risking damaging the tiny head. You'll probably have to do this several times to get the camera exactly where you want it, and it's a pain. The other thing to know is that this camera must be mounted on a horizontal surface to enable 3 axis adjustment. The camera can be positioned either above the mount where it sits atop it, or below the mount where it hangs from it. Since it does not have a ball-type head, mounting it on a vertical surface like a wall only allows for the camera to be adjusted up or down OR side-to-side depending on how the mount is positioned, but not in both directions. For me, this eliminated vertical mounting as an option. In summary, this is a 5-star camera from a 5-star company that sits on a 1-star mount. I would love to see the mount come with a ball head and a knob for adjusting, or at the very least a larger screw.
