They are a perfect addition to the kitchen.
My 10 yr old LOVES oranges and he's been BEGGING me for a set of citus peelers like these since trying ones at my mother's house so I purchased these for him for his birthday. They peel oranges, grapefruits, etc perfectly without having any issues.I had used peelers like these growing up for years. They are a perfect addition to the kitchen. Use the hook and just tear through the skin with ease. Use the other end to lift the skin up a bit and tear the skin away from the orange slices. It's so much easier than getting orange peels under your nails or using a knife. After having these for over a month, they have been working perfectly for my son (and for the rest of our family when he doesn't know we're using them). They are strong, sturdy and absolutely great quality.â˘Set of 4 Tupperware Citrus Peelersâ˘Neatly peels away the rind from citrus fruits - orange, grapefruit, lemon, lime...â˘A classic favorite for generations!â˘No Color ChoiceWhen you order them, you don't get to pick what color(s) you get so that's a downfall, I'm just glad we received my son's favorite color (green). He honestly probably wouldn't have cared one way or another because he just wanted them so much.He broke his arm and has been in a cast for the past 8 weeks and still was able to use the peelers with very little problem!

Thanks Tupperware!
For over 30 years my parents have had oranges, lemons and limes growing in their backyard. You would think my dad would have figured out the best way peel anything citrus long ago, you'd think that but you'd be wrong. My godfather showed my dad one of these citrus peelers and my dad wouldn't stop talking about it. For days and days he went on and on about how amazing this citrus peeler is. Days turned into weeks and I finally broke down and ordered the old man his very own citrus peeler.I gave the peelers to him and he sat right down, peeled and ate 3 oranges and then went out picked a bunch more. He then hopped in his truck and took the oranges he picked to my grandma's house and gave my grandma and aunts a citrus peeler demonstration and afterwards their very own citrus peelers. Now I have four older people frequently telling me about amazing these are. Thanks Tupperware!

Great tool
For people unfamiliar, this is a tool you can use to help peel citrus fruits (grapefruit works especially well). I'm one of those weirdos who peels grapefruits for fun, and I try to completely remove the outside peel and the membrane around the actual fruit, as well. The result is clean fruit without any chewy bitter white peel, and it's extremely satisfying to extract it when you're using one of these tools instead of just your hands. I showed my wife and daughter and now they're peeling grapefruits all day long, it's like Vietnam in our home. The tool itself is heavy and sturdy plastic, and is probably one of the nicer specialized kitchen utensils I've used. You're likely expecting these things to be featherweight and bendable; this is not the case. You could probably kill a man with one if needed. While the tool itself is very well made, I only gave it a 4 out of 5 due to two things that drive me nuts about this tool. The first is that the "hook" end is a bit too wide, which leads to needing more hand strength to pull it through the peel, as well as a bunch of citrus oil flying out of the peel and into your eyes. This is a design flaw, and I believe they might have done it on purpose in order to ensure the tool would essentially last forever. A more narrow hook would mean a smoother and easier cut when pulling it through the outside peel. The second issue is the the bottom "blade" end is very rough and scratchy on each tool. I use the blade end to lift the membrane and the hook to cut (or pull and tear gently), and the blade ends up being annoying with how rough it is. It catches on the fruit, so I eventually needed to polish them all down smooth. These are minor complaints, but overall this is a great tool if you've never used one. Tupperware makes a great one.

So happy to see these!
The very first Tupperware party I went to was almost 50 years ago. I received a yellow one of these as a party favor for being a guest. Funny thing is, over the years, with many moves, etc, I have lost IMPORTANT things (photo albums, important documents, etc.), but somehow, this item has stayed with me all these years! LOLNothing that I'm aware of peels citrus easier, faster and more simply than this little thing. In fear of losing it, I ordered these and was so thrilled to find them. Do yourself a favor and get them. Then give one to a friend of family member. I can't say they will treasure it the way I have my little yellow one, which is a Tupperware original, but they sure will enjoy using it.

This was a blast from the past.
Mom used to have these when I was growing up. Such a great thing to get oranges etc skinned and ready to eat. Even the Cuties or Zipper skin mandarins. Makes it even more easy to pull the skin of with NO breaking off.

Great peeler!
I bought these as I eat a lot of mandarin oranges and peeling them was staining orange the corner of my thumb nail. Now I get to eat my tasty oranges without stained nails. These peelers are just the right design to easily cut through the peel without cutting the fruit inside at all. They are also sturdy and comfortable in your hand - not like some other cheaper plastic peelers. Nice that there are multiples in the pack, as I keep one in the kitchen, another in my remote caddy where I eat a lot of oranges in the TV room, and will have one at work for my lunches. Good buy! The only thing is that mine came not in black but all red. However, they work great.
