POLARBeverages Bitter Lemon, 33.8 Fluid Ounce (Pack of 12)

I developed a taste for bitter lemon when living in Europe. Since I also remember it being sold commonly here in the US during my childhood, I thought it would be easy to find here once I moved back home. But I was wrong. In our area only 1 out of every 5 or more food stores carries any type of bitter lemon, so I was really happy to find it on Amazon. These are a reasonable price (just slightly more than the food store) and I don't have to drive 30+ minutes to get it. I just order a case at the beginning of summer and it lasts me through the season. I like this brand more than others I have tried here in the US, too. Very happy with this purchase.

Flavor ok, expensive

I like the product, but it took 3 weeks to arrive from the east coast….parcel post and packaging all roughed up. Seriously? I enjoy the citrus edge to this tonic. I like it with or without the gin or vodka.. recommend Polar bitter lemon, but not from this seller.

I used to drink another version of this as a child. I’ve been looking for something similar and found Polar makes it. It’s great and takes me back. I drink it over ice, with vodka, gin or tequila. It’s great stuff.

I have always liked bitter lemon since I spent many vacations in the Caribbean. Is the standard but Amazon charges way too much for a bottle Schweppes so I tried polar it’s more lemony, but it’s OK as a substitute. Shipping only in 12 bottle packs is a negative. And the packaging and delays were very annoying. So decent product. Fair service. Give it a 3.

This was my husbands favorite beverage when he went to Kenya for 3 months after graduating. I have been looking for years and was concerned it wasn’t it the same because his was a different brand that Polar bought out. He was pleased to get these for Fathers Day this year and has been enjoying every one.

This is the best soda/tonic ever! Mixed with ice and a splash of Tanqueray, it's the perfect light cocktail.
