My childhood memories are of coconut Easter eggs -- something that is rather difficult to find these days. As I searched on Amazon, I came across this coconut candy instead and am glad I decided to try it. These were outstanding and I can understand why there is such a following. The patties were moist, loaded with coconut, and covered with a dark chocolate coating.

Delicious! Even my daughter loves them and she says she doesn't like coconut. A bit pricey though for what you get.

These are so good I have to hide them. If you like coconut and chocolate, you will love these. I have not seen them in the store, either. And believe me I have looked.

Maybe I just got a bad batch, but the makers say right in their description that these patties are "creamy" and "Each patty is made up of a smooth, shredded coconut texture." My box was dried up, the coconut was not smooth, there was no creaminess whatsoever - unless you want to soak it in water for two hours? Bah! - and the coconut was this dried-up, time-worn beige color, not the fluffy white coconut you see on the box. Clearly this is a beloved candy by many people, which is why I ordered it, but just taking one bite of this was like a tasteless, expired crumble of marzipan and sawdust. I really try not to leave negative reviews, but I just can't let this purchase slide without commenting what a waste of money and anticipation it was. I really can't stress what a bad snack order this was.

I brought these a few years back at South of The Border for my mom when she was living, she was in love with them. I taste one and they are to die for. I order them in remembrance of her. The only problem is the price is to high for a small amount, and their smaller in size compared to the ones at South of The Boarder, and the box is over size for the 10 little sizes bars that only filled half of the box. A very deceptive in appearance, but they are still so good, and tasty. Would have gave 5 stars but the box was half full.

Bought as a gift for my boss. Hopefully they’re the same as the park in Florida
