Cast Iron Cleaner 8"x6" 316L Stainless Steel Chainmail Scrubber for Griddle Skillet Dutch Oven Wok Stainless Steel Pot Cast Iron Pan

I picked this up to help clean my BBQ and I can't believe how well this works! After using cleaning solution to get rid of the grease and sticky stuff, I was left with the caked on carbonized remains that cleaners can do nothing to. This gem got rid of most of the buildup with no problems whatsoever. I used it on some stainless steel parts as well and it cleaned those without scratching. After rinsing with water it is as good as new. Now I have a scrubber for my pots and pans that I can trust to do a good job without ruining them. It is even supposed to clean seasoned cast iron without destroying the seasoning; this I will test in the near future. The only complaint I have is that it is a little hard to use as it is difficult for me to keep a good grip on it. I did find that balling it up helped. I'm sure it is just part of a learning curve on my part. Great item at a good price, and meant to last a lifetime! Who knew this existed!

There's no reason to pay more for one of these chain mail sheets, this is constructed just like the ones that cost more. The links aren't welded so there's the chance of a sharp end scratching the surface of what you're working on if you press too hard. I use with light soap and water to act as a lubricant.

I really loved this cast iron pan, but it was too heavy for me to deal with, especially with food in it. I passed it on to a younger person. However, it cooked extremely well, the meal turned out excellent, and the cleanup was a breeze with the chain mail cleaner. I recommend it highly for those who can deal with heavy cookware.

I like this Cast Iron Cleaner and it definitely does the job. However, I’d recommend looking for similar products that come with a handle. It’s a bit tricky when you’re cleaning. Having a handle would make it much more comfortable and safer to use, especially when dealing with a cast iron. Still, it works great overall, and I’ve been happy with the results!
