This book is full of creative ideas for catering to your daughter's dreams for the perfect slumber party. My daughter is anxiously awaiting her next birthday in 2 months so she can bring one of these themes to life. Very fun, easy-to-do ideas in here!

This book had some really cute idea, and it was fun looking through it with my daughter...however I feel that I could have looked on-line for ideas, pinterest or other media for free to see the same things.

I gave this book and Bored No More by the same author to my granddaughter for her 10th birthday. It was the hit of her birthday slumber party!

I absolutely love this book. I got it for a neighbor girl who loves throwing slumber parties. This is a one-stop shop for all the ideas you need for throwing a great sleepover. Not only are there unique and super-fun themes, but there are also detailed lists of things you need for planning an overnight get-together. Pinterest is great, but a book like this gives you everything you need without having to put it together yourself. My neighbor girl loves the book and has already hosted a couple of themed parties. You know who else loved this book? Her mom. She's had so much fun helping plan the parties when this book has made it so easy. I highly recommend this book for a young girl or the mom of a young girl!

I love all the slumber party ideas in the American Girl magazine and knew this book would be a hit with my daughters (5, 8, and 10). It was even better than I anticipated. Everything from the invitation to the party favors is covered, with creative and fun games that are bound to make the party a success. However, my favorite thing wasn't the cookie invitations (although I must say - inspired!), or the Happy Hostess guidelines (love the bit about avoiding inside jokes), or even the sheer number of cute and easy crafts for the girls to do. The thing that made me fall in love with this book was the "I get that moms are busy and I'll make this even easier for you" tear out shopping lists to go with each theme! This author has really nailed every possible detail and I love this book!

I expected just a few cute ideas, but this book is crammed full of cool themes and tons of suggestions for drinks, games, crafts, you name it! I gave it to my daughter and told her to pick a few things to do at her next sleepover. She marked every other page! I have two daughters with very different tastes, but the variety of ideas has them both covered. What I loved was the clear and concise way the directions were written. All of the games, projects, and recipes are easy to follow, don't require a lot of random materials, and will be easy to explain to even the younger girls. I am sure we can have many happy sleepovers!
