Could I use this to jump off the Space Needle?

Nope. Well, do you really need anything to jump off a building other than your feet? If you wanted it as an accessory then, yeah, sure. But if you’re hoping it could hold you up and you could coast down? No. It’s definitely not strong enough to do that. I put this on my 5yo to slow him down and even he managed to rip some of the stitching. He weighs no more than 45lbs. So if a kid can tear the stitching, I’d imagine someone jumping off the Space Needle could do even more damage to it. But not nearly the kind of damage you’d put on your own body. I’d recommend looking for an actual parachute. Don’t cut corners. You matter.
