Works well
Looks great and does the trick. Materials are a bit cheap but I still really like it over my side door.

Well made and attractive
Had to mount this a little higher than I wanted to because of the middle vertical mounting bracket. But it does the job an awning is intended to do. Because it’s transparent light is not blocked and from the inside it’s bright. It is well designed and the white color blends in. Assembly is a bit time consuming. You need two people to hold it in place while bolting it. Very happy and recommend it.

Product is what we expected, but instructions were not very helpful or complete
It took two to figure out the instructions to put it together. There were four small screws that needed to be installed in each of the corners to keep the brackets tight against the extruded aluminum frame pieces once the thing has been fully assembled. If you don't put those screws in, you will have trouble handling it without the thing falling apart. Nowhere was there any mention in the instructions about putting these screws in. After we found the screws, we saw the holes and figured out what they were for. It made handling the assembled piece much easier. The hardware provided for mounting this was four very large expansion bolts which one might need if you were installing it in brick or concrete block. We were mounting it on a greenhouse doorway on 2 x 4 studs covered with a vinyl sheeting just like what was provided for the awning sheeting. Consequently, we opted to use some smaller lag bolts and put some spacers in the bracket holes which were much too big for the lag bolts we used.We got it installed above the doorway, it looks nice and we hope it will hold up--time will tell. Since we don't get snow here, weight shouldn't be a concern.

Garbage !!!
First the whole concept looked good and very different, that's what I liked about it. The assembly was very difficult and definitely takes two people. The instructions are a joke and are useless. Pictures. I assembled the awning and it looked good. I purchased 4 of these units for the entry on the back of my house. The first thing I noticed was the arch that you mount to the wall or soffit had to have a mountable space of at least 11" to be able to secure these arches. That's fine if you have a flat wall. I had to modify my soffit to be able to mount these arches. To make a long story short. It took me seven days to finish and it looked good. Now for the weather. It rained and it was leaking all over the place almost every seam. NOT HAPPY. the bugs started to crawl into every one of the clear plastic panels and died. As you look up at the awning there is all these dead discolored bugs that you cant get out. These clear tubes that run throughout the awning also fill up with rain water which also discolors. Needless to say come springtime this junk is coming back down and into the dumpster. I am a retired carpenter and have been doing this type of work my whole life. NOT HAPPY !!!

Nice Product
Love the design and colors. When assembled and installed correctly, it's sturdy and relatively simple.Huge Tips, especially for the 120"---do NOT drill mounting holes in advance---read on...1. caulk the channels in the brackets before inserting the poly sheets2. assemble the entire thing promptly after caulking, make sure everything is square and no tension3. let it sit overnight4. drill ONLY a top corner hole on one side where it will be mounted5. get a friend or two or some skyhooks and hold the unit where it will be installed and install the first screw mounting bolt firmly but still allow the unit to swivel around the bolt with a little effort.6. make sure it is level and mark the other top corner, drill, and install mounting bolt7. drill and install the other mount bolts with the awning in situ---8. put some backer rod on the underside of the awning where it mounts to structure and caulk across the gap from the top9. DONE10--OPTION--you COULD assemble individual sections and mount section---make sure the first section is LEVEL if so cuz any out-of-level will be exaggerated across the next two sections, and there is NO room for adjustment---it will create tension EVEN if you drill the holes in situ---11. the key is NOT to drill mounting holes in advance AND to be LEVEL---no matter how closely you measure, they will be off a little and that will create tension between the brackets as you mount them which shows up in the panels---the tiniest amount of tension is greatly exaggerated across the width and depth of the poly panels

Not an easy install if you get the 3 section one
Since the majority of homes in America have staggered siding / clappered style, I don't believe this is a good choice. It will work easily if you have flat siding, but other than that expect a very difficult install. Not just because of your style of siding, but this thing is a nightmare to try and keep together while placing it onto the house. Not to mention assembling it, sliding in the clear portions into the rails is a nightmare. When preparing to put it up on the house, I used a series of ratchet straps to keep it together so it wouldn't keep falling apart. What you save on purchase price you will make up for in labor if you have to pay someone to install this.I had a buddy help me, but three or four people would be much easier (again if you buy the largest size)It is very difficult to flash around it, forcing you to pretty much just caulk where the structure meets the siding. Very rarely will this be watertight or results in a quality outcome. It's been up for a few months, and we'll see how it handles the snow loads in the Northeast.... Just know you're getting what you're paying for on this one.
