The shower chair Medicare provided me was a wash, literally, as it would not fit in my shower - way too big and not adjustable. I got this thing about a month ago, and I'm quite completely pleased with it. It is literally the same "institutional" grade as the one that was in my rehab hospital room. Although made with high quality heavy duty materials, it is still light and easy to deal with. The frame tubing is the heavy grade, and the padding is exactly the same stuff used on the one at the hospital one, which is to say it's the best. I expect the chair will last for years. It fits in my fairly narrow walk-in (with sliding glass door) shower stall perfectly, as the feet are about a 16" square, and the shower floor curves upward beyond that., which is a seriously limiting factor here, but this chair works! It's quite comfortable, the rubber feet make it stay put so it doesn't slide around when wet, and it remains stable. I think it would also work in a tub, which also has the curved floor-to-sides issue. Those pliable rubber feet also spread the weight well enough that I have no fear of them punching through the fiberglass floor material. I was nervous about that after having to replace the original stall when the floor in it cracked years ago just from standing in it, but this setup seems to be fine. These feet are far better than the ones on the Medicare unit and most others I've seen. In the end, I really like it. It is functional, comfortable, and extremely well made.

My husband recently had a stroke so I researched shower chairs, finally deciding on this one. It's a high quality chair, worth paying a bit more for. Light weight yet substantial, it is very easy to snap together without tools. The padded, contoured seat and back are comfortable and the arms provide stability. Easily removed if you don't need them. Having a choice of colors is a plus, too. We are very pleased with the design and function of this chair. The company is very accommodating and eager to please, with support staff available if you have questions. We also purchased non slip PVC loofah bath mats to place beneath the chair, providing firm footing and added safety. We highly recommend this chair. Just what we need.

This chair is just what I needed after my major back surgery. It sits up high enough that I can comfortably get into it for my showers (I’m 5’9” with the bulk of my height in my legs). The rubber feet on the chair legs are pliable so they self-adjust to sit properly against the sides and bottom of the tub making the chair feel very stable. The padding is squishy and comfortable to sit on and the whole chair is easy to clean. The chair is very well made and my roommate said it was a breeze to put together. I’m happy I spent the money for this and my occupational therapist said it’s one of the best she’s seen. Although it’s not my first shower chair, it’s the best I’ve ever owned. I’m sure it will last a good long while.

This chair is perfect for my 94 year old mother. She is not a big woman and the size of the chair is just great for her. It was easy to assemble--its sturdy and stable--and the padding is very comfortable. We paid a bit more than most chairs but in this case we got what we paid for. We will assume she will have it for a good period of time and it was worth every penny. She loves it which is important and we feel that she is very safe with it too. The purchase was handled professionally and the chair came quickly. We would highly recommend buying from the company as I believe you wouldn't be disappointed.

Very well made chair, strong, comfortable and safe for not so stable seniors. Expensive but worth the price.

The seat is very stable. It is somewhat more comfortable than typical shower chair. Will someone develop of soft seat pad.

This chair is a life saver. Long story short - I hurt my foot 7 months ago and I could not get the pain to fully heal and standing in the shower was a nightmare. This chair worked perfectly. First --> Assembly was super easy - everything just snapped into place where you would expect things to - no tools needed. Second --> I am about 15 pounds over the max capacity of the chair based on the Q/A section (sigh - I know I am working on it I think but i have had a rough two years :) )- and it is very sturdy and holds me fine. Third --> the handles make it so much easier to get up from the chair and the max height is PERFECT. All the other chairs I tried were too low to the ground which made me worry about getting up. Fourth --> I think my walk in shower is a pretty standard size and it fits perfectly. Fifth --> Seems to stay clean pretty well - I just spray it off after each use with the shower head and so far it has been fine. This was a great purchase for me - Thank you to the maker of this chair.

Most bath chairs wind up feeling like hard, slippery seats that move around easily in the shower and, in addition, are institutional and unattractive! This shower chair is a cheerful, clear blue with a padded seat and big rubbery feet bottoms. It stays put in the shower. I don’t wince when I sit on it and it definitely feels sturdy and safe. It was a 90 second put together for this very un-handy, all thumbs 70 year old. I’m only 5’3” so leaving it on the lowest rung was completely comfortable for me. Any other shower chair I’ve tried, bamboo or plastic, simply does not compare in sturdiness, comfort, warmth or appeal. I highly recommend along with an exactly matching and extremely safe, non slippery, soft textured shower mat that I got here on Amazon: an Asvin blue non suction cupped bath/shower mat. Together, me shower becomes an inviting,safe place!
