When I decided I wanted to start incorporating moss poles into my plant care, I did a lot of research. I selected this moss based on recommendations from more experienced plant caregivers, and I am very glad I did. It’s top quality, and it’s really clean. Yes, there are a couple of small sticks here and there, but I easily pick them out and discard them. There is no odor with this moss, except a slight (and expected) plant-y fragrance that is very pleasant. I’ve dampened large quantities of it for pole building, and the unused moss dries out completely over time with no mold or odor. I feel like I lucked out because it’s the only moss I’ve ever used and it’s a great product. I’ve read so many bad things about poor quality moss. My first package was enough for the equivalent of 17 moss pole segments as well as additional non-pole stuff.

Best moss ever! I’ll never go back to anything else. Everyone who buys plants from me asks what moss I use so they can buy it too.

having used this product 10 years ago for terraria I found the quality just as good as then- use for terraria/paludaria, orchid mounting, window baskets

So far so good! Reconstituted the entire brick of moss in a 5 gallon bucket with warm water before spreading around snake's 4x2x4 enclosure. Found only a few small sticks and no thorns. Smelled very slightly of the sea but overall moss was clean and in long strands. Hoping this allows a more consistent higher humidity for my red tailed boa. Will update if any mold starts to grow but considering the heating elements, hoping that won't happen.

Love this moss. This is the second brand I’ve used and I like this more. The bale wasn’t a solid brick, which I appreciate changes how much you get in the packaging, however this cut the soaking time in half. Using for my monstera and scindapsus moss poles

This is the only moss I will buy from now on to make my moss poles. I have bought cheaper moss and it smells like death when you go to hydrate it. This is real high-quality moss, and has no funky smell. I have already used two of the largest size.

I do love this moss, it is the best quality i buy for sure BUT the price point is kinda ridiculous which prompts me to try other options, especially for how much I order moss
